Privacy policy
How Litio Store SRL processes the personal data you send through SolarGear.eu, under Articles 13 and 14 of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Italian Personal Data Protection Code (Legislative Decree 196/2003).
1Data controller
Litio Store SRL, Via Giotto 2, 06028 Sigillo (PG), Italy, VAT IT03894170541, email info@litio.store. We have not appointed a data protection officer, as we are not required to under Article 37 GDPR: please send any privacy request to the email address above.
2What data we collect
When you send a quote request: customer type, first and last name, company name, VAT number and, for Italian companies, SDI code or PEC, email address, phone number, delivery address, notes, and the products and quantities you selected. If you answer the optional question “How did you find us?”, we store your answer with the request. When you simply browse the site, the hosting provider records technical data such as IP address, browser and pages requested, for security and to keep the service running. We also collect anonymous visit statistics (pages viewed, referring site, country and device type) with Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not identify individual visitors. Only if you accept analytics on the cookie banner, Microsoft Clarity also records how you use the site (clicks, scrolling and session recordings, with form fields hidden): see the Cookie policy. If you subscribe to PV Radar: your email address, language, chosen topics, and the date of your request and confirmation. If you pay by card, you do so on litio.store and your card details are processed by the payment provider: we do not receive them. Please do not include special categories of data (Article 9 GDPR) in forms or messages.
3Purposes and legal basis
To prepare and send your quote and answer your questions (pre-contractual measures taken at your request, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR); to process the order, delivery and any warranty claim, and to issue invoices, if you accept the quote (performance of a contract and legal obligations, Article 6(1)(b) and (c)); to protect the security of the site and our rights (legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f)); to analyse how the site is used and improve it with Microsoft Clarity, only with your consent (Article 6(1)(a)); to send you PV Radar emails on the topics you chose, only after you have confirmed your subscription by clicking the link in our confirmation email (consent, Article 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before; you can unsubscribe from PV Radar from any email. Apart from the PV Radar emails you ask for, we do not use your data for marketing; we do not sell it and we do not carry out profiling or automated decision-making within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR.
4Who processes the data
Our staff and the technical providers acting as data processors under Article 28 GDPR: Vercel (hosting and cookieless statistics), Supabase (database where quote requests and PV Radar subscriptions are stored, on servers in the EU) and Resend (sending of quote and PV Radar emails, and storage of PV Radar contacts). Data may also be shared with carriers, banks and payment providers, and with the manufacturer when needed for a warranty claim, only as needed to deliver, invoice or support an order, and with public authorities where required by law. Only if you consent, data on how you use the site is also sent to Microsoft Corporation, which provides the Clarity analytics service under its own terms and privacy statement (privacy.microsoft.com). An up-to-date list of processors is available on request.
5Transfers outside the EU
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. In that case, transfers comply with Chapter V GDPR and are covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission (Article 45, such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework) or by the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the Commission (Article 46(2)). You can ask us for information on these safeguards.
6How long we keep it
Quote requests that do not lead to an order are kept for up to 24 months, so that we can follow up on your request, and are then deleted. Order and invoicing data are kept for 10 years, as required by Italian tax and accounting law. Clarity session recordings are deleted after 30 days, heatmaps and click data after 9 months. PV Radar data is kept until you unsubscribe; unconfirmed requests are deleted after 30 days. A request for deletion does not cover data we must keep by law or to protect our rights.
7Your rights
Under Articles 15 to 22 GDPR you can request access to, correction or deletion of your data, restriction of or objection to its processing, and a copy of your data in a portable format, by writing to info@litio.store. We reply without undue delay and in any case within one month, which may be extended by two further months where Article 12 GDPR allows. Exercising your rights is free. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it) or with the supervisory authority in the EU country where you live or work (Article 77 GDPR), and to go to court (Article 79 GDPR).
8Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access (Article 32 GDPR), including an encrypted connection to the site, access controls on our systems and the choice of providers that offer adequate guarantees.
9Providing your data
Fields marked as required are needed to prepare an accurate quote, including VAT and delivery for your country. Without them we cannot process your request. Subscribing to PV Radar is optional and does not affect your quote.
10Minors and changes
The site is not intended for people under 18. We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services, processing or the law; the current version is always published on this page.
