What SolarGear.eu stores in your browser, which analytics we use only with your consent, and how to change your choice.
1What we store in your browser
We use your browser's local storage only for functions you ask for: your quote list, so you can find it again when you return; your comparison list of up to four products; and your choice on the cookie banner. This data stays on your device, is not sent to us until you submit a quote request, is not used to track you and does not require consent, because it is strictly necessary to provide the service you request.
2Visit statistics without cookies
We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser and does not identify individual visitors. It shows us only aggregate data, such as pages viewed, referring site, country and device type.
3Analytics with Microsoft Clarity, only with your consent
If you click “Accept” on the banner, we load Microsoft Clarity, a service of Microsoft Corporation. Clarity records how you use the pages (clicks, mouse movements, scrolling, pages viewed, device, browser and approximate country) and produces session recordings and heatmaps, which we use only to find problems and improve the site. Text typed into forms is hidden by Clarity and is not recorded. We do not use this data for advertising and do not share it with Microsoft Advertising. If you click “Reject”, Clarity is not loaded at all.
4Clarity cookies and retention
With your consent Clarity sets two cookies on this site: _clck, which recognises the same browser on later visits (1 year), and _clsk, which groups the pages you view into one session (1 day). Microsoft may also set its own cookies on Microsoft domains, such as MUID, CLID, MR, SM and ANONCHK. Clarity keeps session recordings for 30 days and heatmaps and click data for 9 months. Microsoft may process the data in the United States; Microsoft is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Microsoft's privacy statement: privacy.microsoft.com.
5How to give or withdraw consent
You choose on the banner shown at your first visit: rejecting is as easy as accepting. You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw consent, Clarity stops and its cookies are deleted. We remember your choice for 6 months and then ask you again.
6How to delete this data
You can delete the data stored by this site at any time in your browser settings (cookies and site data). This also empties your quote and comparison lists.
