Who we areNew, original Safiery products with full manufacturer warranty, supplied with their documentation.
HiBlade is Safiery's high-density 48V battery: 50.0V, 135Ah and 6,750Wh in a 29kg IP67 pack of 400×300×188mm, built from 42 hybrid solid-state NCM blade cells rated 320Wh/kg at cell level. It delivers 150A continuously, 7,500W, with 250A for 2 seconds and accepts 100A of charge. The Quasar BMS checks the impedance of every cell group daily against its factory baseline to give advance warning of degradation, and connects to inverters and chargers over standard CAN.
HiBlade holds 42 semi-solid-state NCM cells of 45Ah at 3.57V, each 5mm thin, standing vertically like blades in a 14S3P layout. Both tabs sit at the top, so heat leaves through the tabs into a machined billet heat sink rather than through the cell face. An active carrier called Heartbeat keeps the stack under pressure while the cells swell and shrink, and four pressure sensors report to the BMS.
The Quasar BMS performs electrochemical impedance spectroscopy on every cell group with 10µΩ resolution. At end of line the ohmic resistance is used to check tab welds, busbars and stack compression; in service the same sweep is repeated daily and compared with each cell's signed factory baseline, so mechanisms such as lithium plating, electrolyte dryout or loss of compression can be flagged weeks before they become a safety issue.
Protection decisions run on an ASIL-D NXP S32K358 processor in lockstep. A hardware comparator opens the protection chain in under 100µs, backed by a dual MOSFET stack, redundant current sensing and a pyrotechnic fuse. Detected deviations escalate in four steps: a logged advisory, trimmed charge limits with the cell and mechanism named, a graceful derate of charge and discharge, and finally self-restriction of the pack.
The pack measures 400×300×188mm, weighs 29kg and sits in an IP67 marine-grade enclosure. It talks to inverters and chargers over standard BMS CAN, and Safiery describes it as Victron plug-and-play with no dongle. In parallel banks the BMS measures current from 6mA with 1mA resolution and holds back any battery above the bank average until resistances equalise; up to 128 units coordinate over a 1Mbit/s ISO 11898 bus.
Maximum charge current is 100A and the rated cycle life is 1,500 cycles at 80% depth of discharge. Safiery lists CE, UKCA and EU RED marking; IEC 62619 compliance of the BMS design and certification to ISO 23625:2025 are stated as pending, and readiness for the EU battery passport is given for February 2027.
Hybrid (semi-) solid-state NCM cells: 42 per pack in a 14S3P configuration, each 45Ah at 3.57V, with a cell energy density of 320Wh/kg.
Safiery's brochure gives 1,500 cycles at 80% depth of discharge.
Yes. It uses standard BMS CAN and Safiery states it is Victron plug-and-play without a dongle.
Not yet. The brochure lists IEC 62619 BMS design compliance and ISO 23625:2025 certification as pending.
