Who we areNew, original SolaX products with full manufacturer warranty, supplied with their documentation.
A 24.24kWp kit of 48 modules of 505Wp with the SolaX X3-ULT-20K, a 20kW three-phase hybrid inverter from the X3-ULTRA commercial range. Two MPPTs with two strings each accept up to 36A, which suits high-current modules, and SolaX recommends up to 40kWp of PV. Storage can follow on two battery inputs totalling 60A at 120–800V; backup output reaches twice the rated power for 10 seconds.
Each kit combines a SolaX three-phase hybrid inverter with a set of PV modules and leaves the battery out, so the system starts as a grid-connected plant and storage can be added later. Both inverter series take high-voltage lithium batteries in the 120–800V range. SolaX notes that the X3-HYBRID G4 is compatible with a minimum of three HS25/HS36 battery modules and the X3-ULTRA with a minimum of three HS series modules.
The X3-HYBRID-12.0-D (G4) delivers 12kW, accepts up to 24kWp of PV on two MPPTs (28A and 16A) and charges the battery at 30A. The X3-ULTRA models are larger commercial units: the X3-ULT-20K has two MPPTs and the X3-ULT-30K three, each taking two strings at up to 36A, with 60A of battery current on two battery inputs of 30A. SolaX quotes 98.0% maximum and 97.7% European efficiency for both series.
Backup (EPS) output switches over in under 10ms and supplies twice its rated power for 10 seconds on the X3-ULTRA. SolaX lists smart load management for heat pumps and EV chargers, time-of-use energy management on the G4, and on-grid and off-grid parallel operation: up to 10 units for the X3-ULTRA, up to 150kW for the G4. A Super-Backup setting, disabled by default, lets the X3-HYBRID G4 enter off-grid mode with PV input only; without battery, the manual limits three-phase EPS output to half its nominal value.
The X3-HYBRID G4 is IP65 and the X3-ULTRA IP66, both rated -35…+60°C with derating above 45°C and up to 3000m altitude. Type II surge protection is fitted on DC and AC, AFCI is optional. The installer adds mounting structures, DC and AC cabling and protections, the CT or meter used for export control, the monitoring dongle where not supplied, the grid connection paperwork and, later, the battery.
No. The kits contain the inverter and PV modules. A high-voltage battery in the 120–800V range can be added; SolaX specifies a minimum of three HS series modules.
The X3-HYBRID G4 has a Super-Backup function, disabled by default, for off-grid operation with PV only. The manual states that without battery the three-phase EPS output is limited to half its nominal power.
SolaX gives a maximum recommended PV array of 24kWp for the X3-HYBRID-12.0-D, 40kWp for the X3-ULT-20K and 60kWp for the X3-ULT-30K.
SolaX lists CEI 0-21 among the certifications of both series and publishes CEI 0-21 certificates for the X3-HYBRID G4 and X3-ULTRA.
