Who we areNew, original GoodWe products with full manufacturer warranty, supplied with their documentation.
The LX D5.0-10 is the 5kWh pack of GoodWe's Lynx Home D high-voltage battery. Each pack holds its own BMS and outputs 320–480V, delivering 3kW continuously and 5kW for 10 seconds. One to eight packs can be combined, up to four per stack, for 5 to 40kWh usable. The IP66 housing weighs 52kg and is installed on a base or wall rack. It is approved for GoodWe ET, ET G2, EH, BT and BH hybrid and battery inverters.
Lynx Home D is a high-voltage battery made of identical 5kWh packs. Unlike stack systems with a central control box, each LX D5.0-10 integrates its own battery management, DC/DC stage, power switch and SOC indicator, so packs are added in parallel rather than in series. The output voltage stays in the 320–480V range whatever the number of packs, and the inverter communicates with the first pack over CAN.
A multi-function button provides black start: if there is no PV and the grid has failed, holding it for two seconds starts the battery and the inverter, which then runs in off-grid mode from the battery. Holding it for more than five seconds switches the pack off. Firmware updates and diagnostics are handled remotely through the inverter.
Each pack delivers 3kW nominal and 5kW for 10 seconds, with a 16S1P LFP cell configuration. Charging is allowed from 0 to 53°C and discharging from -20 to 53°C, so below freezing the battery can supply loads but cannot recharge. The 700×380×170mm housing weighs 52kg, is rated IP66 and is fan-cooled, with a regular airflow sound of up to 35dB(A) described by GoodWe as normal.
Packs stand on an optional base or hang on an optional wall rack; GoodWe recommends the base when a stack exceeds three packs and allows at most four per stack and two stacks, eight packs in total. The installer supplies a 6mm² earth cable and DC cables of 6 or 10mm² to the inverter, 10mm² between stacks. A terminating resistor must be fitted on the last pack's communication port.
GoodWe lists the LX D5.0-10 for its ET (5–10kW, including ET PLUS+), EH, BT, BH, ET 15–30kW and ET G2 inverters, each with minimum firmware. CEI 0-21 certificates for Italy cover the battery with the ET G2 and with the ET 15–30kW series. The battery has CE, VDE 2510-50, IEC 62619 and IEC 62040 documentation and is UN38.3 tested for transport.
Between one and eight packs, with no more than four in one stack and two stacks in total, giving 5 to 40kWh usable energy.
Yes. GoodWe designed the Lynx D to support mixing new and old packs, so capacity can be expanded later within the limit of eight packs.
The housing is IP66 for indoor or outdoor use, but charging only works between 0 and 53°C. Below 0°C the battery can still discharge down to -20°C but cannot recharge, which may lead to undervoltage protection.
GoodWe ET (5–10kW, ET PLUS+), EH, BT, BH, ET 15–30kW and ET G2 high-voltage inverters, with the firmware versions given in the battery compatibility overview.
