An Italian company selling batteries, inverters and solar equipment since 2015. Registered office in Sigillo (Perugia), VAT IT03894170541.
Who we areNew, original FoxESS products with full manufacturer warranty, supplied with their documentation.
The EQ4800-M is the Main-pack of an EQ4800 tower: a 4.66kWh, 44.8V, 104Ah lithium iron phosphate module that also houses the system controller, DC switch and CAN link to the inverter. One EQ4800-M runs one to eight EQ4800-S Support-packs, for towers of 9.32–41.93kWh and 89.6–403.2V at up to 50A. It measures 570×188×380mm and weighs 43kg. FoxESS's Italian CEI 0-21 declarations cover EQ4800 with H3-Pro, and the TÜV certificate for H3 Smart includes it.
The EQ4800 system stacks 44.8V lithium iron phosphate modules in series. The Main-pack, EQ4800-M, carries the system controller, DC switch, power button and CAN port; the Support-packs, EQ4800-S, contain cells only. A tower uses one EQ4800-M and one to eight EQ4800-S, so voltage rises in 44.8V steps from 89.6V with two modules to 403.2V with nine, and energy in 4.66kWh steps up to 41.93kWh.
Each module stores 4.66kWh at 104Ah. A tower supplies up to 50A continuously, 30A recommended, and 65A for 60 seconds, with 90% depth of discharge and above 95% round-trip efficiency at 25°C on the datasheet. Charging works from 0°C and discharging from -10°C, up to +55°C; there is no warm-up version of the EQ4800 on the datasheet. Every module has a fire protection function.
Towers stand on a level floor using the footstand and are secured to the wall with brackets. Keep at least 300mm clear around the stack, an indoor room of at least 10m², and follow the manual's instruction to bring the existing system to about 50% SOC before adding modules. All towers are 570mm wide and 380mm deep, from 386mm high with two modules to 1352mm with nine.
FoxESS's Italian documentation lists EQ4800 among the storage systems of its CEI 0-21 declaration for H3-Pro inverters, with a matching CEI 0-16 declaration, and the TÜV CEI 0-21 certificate for H3 Smart includes EQ4800 combinations. The low module voltage gives fine voltage steps, but the tower voltage must still fall within the inverter's battery range.
The EQ4800-M shows status and state of charge on six LEDs and each support pack has one LED. Battery data reach the FoxCloud app and portal through the hybrid inverter, which controls charging and discharging over CAN. A black-start sequence on the power button is provided for restarting without grid or PV.
Nine: one EQ4800-M Main-pack and up to eight EQ4800-S Support-packs, for 41.93kWh at 403.2V nominal.
No. EQ4800 modules are 44.8V and 104Ah, while EQ3300 and EQ5000 modules are 64V. The EQ4800 has its own manual and cannot be mixed with other models.
The EQ4800 datasheet lists charging from 0°C and discharging from -10°C with no warm-up option.
