Who we areNew, original V-TAC products with full manufacturer warranty, supplied with their documentation.
The VT48100E-P2 (V-TAC SKU 11377) is a 5.12kWh, 51.2V lithium iron phosphate module in 19-inch rack format, 445×400×130mm and 41kg. It supplies up to 100A continuous, reports to the inverter over CAN or RS485 and shows its status on a front LCD. Start with one module for a small LV hybrid system and add modules in a cabinet as consumption grows: six in parallel give about 30kWh without an extra control unit.
The VT48100E-P2 holds 16 lithium iron phosphate cells in series for 51.2V nominal and 100Ah, or 5.12kWh. Its BMS protects against overcharge, overdischarge, overcurrent and temperature faults, balances the cells and passes state of charge and limits to the inverter over CAN or RS485. V-TAC gives a 56.8V maximum charge voltage, 20A standard and 100A maximum continuous current at 25°C, a recommended depth of discharge above 80% and more than 6,000 cycles below 0.5C.
The module is built for standard 19-inch racks and cabinets and is IP20, so it belongs in a dry indoor room; V-TAC recommends 10–45°C for best life, while the BMS allows charging from 0°C and discharging from -20°C up to +60°C. Each module has a front LCD, power terminals, two RJ45 communication ports and a DIP switch for the address. Self-discharge stays below 3% per month, but packs should not be stored empty.
Up to six modules work in parallel without a control unit, which V-TAC puts at about 30kWh; with a control unit, communication extends to 15 modules. With four to six modules the bank current is limited to 300A, so peak power stays at about 15kW. For CAN set the master to address 0 and number the others upwards.
V-TAC's 51.2V compatibility list covers Deye LV hybrids plus Solis, Hoymiles, Afore, SRNE, TBB, Megarevo, INVT, Vestwoods, Phocos Any-Grid and Victron GX devices, mostly over CAN, and Deye's CEI 0-21 declaration for SG03LP1 inverters lists the VT48100E-P2 with one to 15 modules. The same module is also offered as a set with a rack cabinet module and top cover for installations without a 19-inch cabinet.
Yes. It is a 19-inch rack module measuring 445×400×130mm; V-TAC recommends mounting it in a 19-inch rack or cabinet.
Six without a control unit, about 30kWh; with a V-TAC control unit communication supports up to 15 modules.
The battery appears in Deye's CEI 0-21 declaration for SUN-3–6K-SG03LP1-EU inverters, with 1–15 modules recommended by the manufacturer.
The product sheet states a 10-year warranty, subject to V-TAC's warranty conditions.
