An Italian company selling batteries, inverters and solar equipment since 2015. Registered office in Sigillo (Perugia), VAT IT03894170541.
Who we areNew, original V-TAC products with full manufacturer warranty, supplied with their documentation.
The VE51280W (V-TAC SKU 11525) packs 14.33kWh of lithium iron phosphate, 13.61kWh usable, into one IP65 unit for wall or floor mounting. At 51.2V nominal it delivers 150A continuous, enough for the battery port of most single-phase LV hybrid inverters, and it communicates over CAN or RS485. The housing measures 500×800×250mm and the battery weighs 128.5kg, so plan a load-bearing wall or floor and two people for handling. Four units in parallel reach about 57kWh.
The VE51280W is a 16-cell lithium iron phosphate pack with a nominal 51.2V and an operating range of 43.2–57.6V. V-TAC rates it at 14.33kWh nominal and 13.61kWh usable, with 150A continuous in both directions and a 56.4V rated charge voltage. The BMS handles voltage and current protection, cell balancing and alarms for over- and under-voltage, overcurrent, short circuit, temperature and hardware faults.
Charging stops below 0°C and discharging below -20°C, both enforced by the BMS, and the battery should not be stored at very low state of charge for long periods. V-TAC gives more than 6,000 cycles at 80% depth of discharge and 25°C, a design life of more than 15 years and storage between -20 and +60°C.
The IP65 enclosure is cooled by natural convection and can stand on the floor or hang on the wall with the two supplied brackets. The manual asks for a flat surface, a spacious and ventilated site, two people for handling and fixing to the wall for stability. Altitude is limited to 2,000m and humidity to 5–95% without condensation. Near the coast V-TAC accepts the battery thanks to its IP rating but recommends air conditioning where possible. Power and communication cables come from V-TAC master and slave cable kits.
Packs can be paralleled to extend backup time; check that SOC and voltage match and switch the batteries off before connecting. The datasheet lists four units in parallel. With more than two batteries, V-TAC recommends a busbar, or a hand-to-hand connection with the inverter's maximum output current set in advance to 200A to protect the BMS. COM1 talks to the inverter over CAN or RS485, COM2 links the batteries; the last pack gets a termination resistor. V-TAC's compatibility list for its 51.2V batteries includes this model (SKU 11525).
It has an IP65 housing and V-TAC lists both wall and floor mounting; for coastal or harsh sites the manual still recommends air conditioning where possible. It will not charge below 0°C.
V-TAC states 14.33kWh nominal and 13.61kWh usable capacity per battery.
The datasheet lists four in parallel. With more than two units, connect them through a busbar or follow V-TAC's hand-to-hand wiring with the inverter current limited to 200A.
The battery uses CAN or RS485; V-TAC's 51.2V compatibility list covers Deye LV hybrids and other brands such as Solis, Hoymiles and Victron GX devices.
