Who we areNew, original Voltronic Power products with full manufacturer warranty, supplied with their documentation.
The Axpert MAX 7200-48-230 is the 48V, 7.2kW model of Voltronic Power's Axpert MAX off-grid series. It accepts 8,000W of PV split over two 4,000W inputs, with a 90–450V MPPT range and a 500V open-circuit limit, and charges the battery at up to 80A from solar or mains. Surge power is 15,000VA and no-load consumption stays below 70W. Unlike the 24V MAX 3600 sibling, it can run in parallel with up to six units. Wi-Fi monitoring, an RGB status bar and an optional 12V DC output are built in.
The Axpert MAX series combines an inverter, an MPPT solar charger and a mains or generator battery charger in one cabinet for off-grid and backup systems. Two models share the same 553.6mm-high enclosure: the MAX 3600-24-230 for 24V batteries and the MAX 7200-48-230 for 48V. Output priority, charging current and an AC/PV output usage timer are configurable, and the inverter keeps supplying the loads from PV or the grid even with no battery connected.
The 7.2kW model accepts 8,000W of PV split over two 4,000W inputs, with an MPPT range of 90–450V and a 500V open-circuit limit; the 3.6kW model takes 4,000W at 120–450V. Both charge at up to 80A from solar or mains. Surge power is 15,000VA on the 7200 and 7,500VA on the 3600, peak efficiency 90–93%, and no-load consumption below 70W and 45W respectively. Transfer time is 15ms in the UPS input range and 20ms in the appliance range.
The AC input works with utility mains or a generator, with a selectable acceptance window of 170–280VAC for sensitive electronics or 90–280VAC for household appliances. Only the 7200 model can run in parallel, with up to six units. A built-in anti-dust kit and a replaceable fan suit dusty locations, and an optional 12V DC output (100W) can power small DC loads such as a fan, LED lighting or a router. Operating range is -10…+50°C, non-condensing.
Built-in Wi-Fi allows monitoring from a mobile app available for Android and iOS. Wired interfaces are USB with On-the-Go function, RS232, RS485 and a dry contact, plus a port reserved for BMS communication over RS485, CAN-bus or RS232 and a connection for a remote panel. An RGB LED bar shows in different colours whether the output is fed by PV, grid or battery, and the battery charge or discharge state.
Only the MAX 7200-48-230, with up to six units. The MAX 3600-24-230 is for single-unit installations.
Yes. Voltronic states that the AC input is compatible with utility mains or generator power. The acceptance window can be set to 90–280VAC (appliances) or 170–280VAC (computers).
No. Voltronic describes a battery independent design: the loads can be supplied from PV or the grid without a battery connected.
80A on both models, which is also the maximum mains charging current and the maximum combined charging current.
