Who we areNew, original Trina Solar products with full manufacturer warranty, supplied with their documentation.
This pallet carries 36 Trina Solar TSM-515NEG18R.28 modules for 18.54kWp. The 515Wp class reaches 23.2% efficiency with 33.90V and 15.20A at maximum power, 40.90V Voc and 15.96A Isc. Like the whole NEG18R.28 series it uses 108 n-type i-TOPCon cells, two 1.6mm glass sheets and a black frame in a 1,961×1,134×30mm, 23.5kg module rated for 5400Pa positive and 2400Pa negative loads. Trina intends these modules for rooftop systems, with a 30A series fuse rating.
The NEG18R.28 is the mid-size Vertex S+ module that Trina Solar positions for commercial and industrial roofs. Its 108 n-type i-TOPCon cells are built on Trina's 210 platform and sit between a 1.6mm anti-reflective front glass and a 1.6mm rear glass, both heat-strengthened. At 1,961×1,134×30mm it stays under two metres long, and 23.5kg keeps it manageable on a roof. The frame is black anodised aluminium and Trina rates it as monofacial.
The global datasheet (2026-A) covers 495–525Wp with a 0/+5W power selection and 22.3–23.6% efficiency; the EU datasheet (2024-C) lists 485–510Wp. Because each module has only 108 cells, open-circuit voltage stays near 40–42V while short-circuit current is close to 16A, so more modules fit in one string at a given inverter voltage. Coefficients are -0.29%/°C (Pmax), -0.24%/°C (Voc) and +0.04%/°C (Isc), with 1500V DC system voltage and a 30A series fuse rating.
Trina's Vertex user manual lists the NEG18R series among distributed-system products and prohibits ground-mounted power plants. With four clamps on the long frame and rails running across it, the clamp centrelines go in the 315–405mm zone, rated for 2400Pa uplift and 5400Pa downforce; for bolted mounting the holes used are 1300mm apart. Size cables and protection with 1.25 times the marked Isc and Voc, and check that each inverter input accepts the resulting string current of about 20A.
Both datasheets give a 30-year power warranty with at most 1% first-year and 0.4% annual degradation, or 87.4% after 30 years. The product warranty differs by document: 25 years on the EU 2024-C datasheet, 15 years on the global 2026-A datasheet that includes the 515–525W classes. Modules are packed 36 per box and 864 per 40ft container, with TS4 Plus, TS4 or MC4 EVO2 connectors depending on the certified version.
No. Trina's datasheet describes it as a monofacial dual-glass module; the bifacial module of the same size is the NEG18RC.27.
With 108 cells instead of 144, Voc is about 41V and current is close to 16A. Strings can therefore hold more modules before reaching the inverter's maximum input voltage.
No. The user manual excludes NEG18R series modules from ground-mounted power plants; they are intended for rooftop systems.
36 modules per box and 864 per 40ft container.
