Overview

Forty-eight 505Wp modules (24.24kWp) with the Solis S6-EH3P20K-H 20kW three-phase hybrid inverter and a Pylontech Force H3 tower of three or six modules for 15.36 or 30.72kWh. Inverter and battery are both limited to 50A, so the tower delivers about 15kW with three modules and about 31kW with six at nominal voltage, the latter covering the inverter's 20kW. A 7in display, Wi-Fi, LAN and Bluetooth are built in, and a third AC port serves a generator or smart loads. A protection box is included.

How the kits work

Each kit pairs a Solis three-phase hybrid inverter for high-voltage batteries with a Pylontech Force H3 tower and a PV array sized within Solis' usable PV limit. The tower stacks 5.12kWh FH10050 modules in series under an FC1000 controller, so three modules give 15.36kWh at 307.2V and six give 30.72kWh at 614.4V. The inverter charges the tower from PV or grid, discharges it into the building in the evening and exports or limits the remaining surplus.

Inverter options

The 18.18kWp and 24.24kWp kits use the S6-EH3P15K-H or 20K-H, with four MPP trackers, a 120–800V battery port and 50A of battery current. The 35.4kWp to 61.36kWp kits use the S6-EH3P30K, 40K or 50K-H, whose two battery ports each take 70A between 150V and 800V and can be combined on one battery. The smaller kits, from 5 to 12kW, pair the same tower with a Solis three-phase high-voltage hybrid of matching rating.

Battery and compatibility

Pylontech rates Force H3 for 50A of charge and discharge current, 55A for 15 minutes, 95% depth of discharge and more than 8,000 cycles. At nominal voltage a three-module tower therefore handles about 15kW and a six-module tower about 31kW. Pylontech's high-voltage compatibility list allows two to five FH3 modules with the S6-EH3P(5-10)K-H-EU and two to seven with the S6-EH3P(12-20)K-H and S6-EH3P(29.9-50)K-H, and Solis includes Force-H3 in its battery matching list.

Installation and what to add

The S6-EH3P-H inverters are IP66. The Force H3 system is rated IP65, yet Pylontech asks to avoid direct sun and frost and to keep the base out of rain. A three-module tower weighs 131kg and a six-module tower 248kg; the base is fixed with M8 expansion bolts or anti-toppling brackets, with 0.3m between towers. Solis publishes a CEI 0-21 declaration for each inverter series with an appendix of approved batteries. The installer adds mounting, DC and AC protections, cabling and the grid paperwork.
