Overview

IntelliHome-10kWh-OD is the 10kWh model of the SolisStorage IntelliHome-OD range, a single-cabinet 51.2V LiFePO4 battery with 100Ah cells and an operating range of 44.8–57.6V. Recommended charge and discharge current is 100A, with up to 200A discharge. The slim 470×1075×175mm housing weighs 90kg, mounts on a wall or the floor and is rated IP66 for outdoor use. Smart heating extends operation down to -20°C, and up to eight units can be paralleled.

How it works

IntelliHome-OD is a single-cabinet low-voltage battery from SolisStorage, offered in three sizes. The 5kWh and 10kWh models use 100Ah LiFePO4 cells, the 16kWh model uses 314Ah cells, and all operate between 44.8V and 57.6V. Each unit has its own protection functions, SOC and status indicators and CAN/RS485 communication with the inverter; unlike the stackable FlexHome range, no separate control module is listed.

Recommended charge and discharge current is 50A for 5kWh, 100A for 10kWh and 157A for 16kWh. Maximum discharge current is 1C on the 5kWh and 10kWh units, 100A and 200A, while the 16kWh unit is limited to 0.5C, 157A. Up to eight units can be connected in parallel for a total of 128kWh.

Safety and environment

Protection covers over- and under-voltage, over-current and over- or under-temperature, with a DC breaker, DC overcurrent fuses, an aerogel thermal insulation plate, a fire protection function and explosion-release valves. The housing is rated IP66 with C5-M corrosion resistance, so it can be installed outdoors. With the smart heating function, the operating range is -20…+55°C.

Installation and compatibility

The 5kWh unit measures 470×655×175mm and weighs 47kg, the 10kWh unit 470×1075×175mm and 90kg, and the 16kWh unit 470×950×264mm and 122kg. All can be wall-mounted or floor-standing and are naturally cooled. Maximum operating altitude is 4000m, the storage temperature range is -10…+45°C and relative humidity may range from 5% to 95%. State of charge and status are shown on the unit's own indicators.

SolisStorage lists compatible inverters including S5-EH1P(3-6)K-L, S6-EH1P(3-10)K-L-PLUS, S6-EH1P(9.9-18)K03-NV-YD-L, S6-EH3P(5-18)K02-NV-YD-L, S6-EA1P(3.6-6)K-L and S6-EO1P off-grid models. IntelliHome-5/10/16kWh-OD is included in the CEI 0-21 declarations of the Solis S6-EH1P(3-8)K-L-PLUS and S6-EH3P(8-15)K02-NV-YD-L inverters, and the Solis battery matching list includes it among SolisStorage low-voltage batteries. Listed certifications include IEC 62619, IEC 63056, VDE 2510-50 and UN 38.3.
