Jupiter B Wall is the 12V version of the modular Wall system, rated by Safiery at 5000W. Its component list includes two Safiery Solid State Lithium 12V 217Ah batteries (5,554Wh), an Orion XS 12/12-50A DC-DC charger, a SmartSolar MPPT 100/20, a Smart BatteryProtect 65A, a Cerbo GX MK2 with GX Touch 50, STAR-Power and STAR-Light V2 switching controllers and four STAR-Switch Quad wireless switches. The inverter/charger model is not stated in the published component list.

How it is built

Jupiter Wall splits the power system into four modules that can be bought singly or together and are joined with plug-in push-and-lock connectors. Module one is the stackable Safiery Solid State Lithium bank in 12V or 48V; module two holds the Victron inverter/charger and solar charger; module three carries 12V power distribution with DC-DC charging at 50A or 125A; module four is the display with wireless and wired switches.

The batteries share one 420×150×250mm case that stacks on the next and includes a manual service disconnect (MSD) isolator with fuse. Safiery states that each unit can be changed individually and that a modular under-chassis arrangement reaches 16,272Wh. With the CAN BMS the bank is read by the Victron system, which then follows the battery's charge limits.

Digital switching

Both Wall kits combine a STAR-Power controller, six high-current outputs plus six dimmable 10A outputs with a 150A maximum, and a STAR-Light V2 with twelve 10A channels and RGBW control. Safiery's fuseless protection cuts a channel in 80 millionths of a second on a short circuit. Four battery-powered STAR-Switch Quad wireless switches are included and can be placed anywhere without wiring; CAN keypads can be added.

Monitoring and settings

A Victron Cerbo GX MK2 with GX Touch 50 display collects the inverter, solar charger, battery and switching data, and makes it available through VictronConnect and, with internet access, the VRM portal. Safiery's STAR controllers also support Matter, so circuits can be operated from the home-control apps of Apple, Google, Amazon and Samsung phones, as well as from the wireless switches.
