A pallet of 36 Regitec RMHT48/470AB2 modules, 16.92kWp in total. The top power class of the RMHT48 AB2 series delivers 470Wp at 23.52% efficiency from 96 half-cut n-type TOPCon cells, with 36.31V Voc, 16.40A Isc and 30.16V at the maximum power point. The all-black dual-glass laminate measures 1,762×1,134×30mm and weighs 21.5kg, a size that suits residential and commercial roofs; with 10% rear gain Regitec gives 517W per module.

Module design

The RMHT48 AB2 series from Regitec uses 96 half-cut n-type TOPCon cells of 182×105mm (210R format, 2×48) with 16 busbars, laminated between two 1.6mm tempered glass sheets with anti-reflective coating. Regitec describes it as an all-black glass/glass design, with an anodised aluminium frame, for a uniform dark appearance on residential roofs. The module measures 1,762×1,134×30mm and weighs 21.5kg; output cables are 4mm² and 1,200mm long, with Stäubli MC4 connectors.

Electrical characteristics

Five power classes from 450Wp to 470Wp are listed, with positive tolerance of 0…+4.99W and efficiencies from 22.52% to 23.52%. Maximum system voltage is 1500V DC (IEC/UL) and the maximum series fuse 30A. Temperature coefficients are -0.290%/°C for Pmax, -0.250%/°C for Voc and +0.045%/°C for Isc, NOCT 45±2°C. Regitec states a bifaciality above 85% and publishes rear-gain tables: for the 470Wp model, 517W at 10% gain and 564W at 20%.

Design and installation notes

The datasheet rates the module for 5400Pa on the front and 2400Pa on the rear and an operating range of -40…+85°C. Regitec's installation manual asks designers to multiply the Isc and Voc on the label by 1.25 when sizing conductors, fuses and controls, and to apply an additional factor of 1.1 for bifacial dual-glass modules. Request the module-specific mounting drawing from Regitec, since the published manual is written for single-glass modules.

Warranty and packaging

Regitec gives 30 years of product warranty and a 30-year linear performance warranty, with at least 87.4% of rated power in year 30. The datasheet packing list gives 37 modules per pallet (1,790×1,140×1,254mm), 26 pallets and 962 modules per 40ft HQ container.
