Who we areNew, original Redarc products with full manufacturer warranty, supplied with their documentation.
The TLSEN200 is the mid-length model of REDARC's TLSEN range, with a 200mm (±2mm) SU304 stainless steel probe and a 460mm lead. Its float-operated reed contacts give 240Ω with the tank empty and 33Ω when it is full, the resistive range the TVMS Rogue (TVMS1240) reads on its analogue inputs for display in RedVision. The sensor mounts in a standard SAE 5-hole flange with the gasket and five M5 screws supplied, and suits fresh water, grey water and fuel tanks in caravans and campers.
Each TLSEN sensor is a vertical probe with a float that carries a magnet. As the liquid level changes, the float slides along the stem and the magnetic field switches reed contacts inside it, so the sensor presents a resistance that falls from 240Ω with the tank empty to 33Ω when it is full. The TVMS Rogue reads that resistance on one of its analogue inputs and converts it into a tank level shown in the RedVision app and on the DISP4300 display.
The three models differ only in probe length: 175mm, 200mm and 225mm, each with a ±2mm tolerance and a 460mm (±20mm) lead. The body is SU304 stainless steel and REDARC states that the materials are FDA approved, so the sensors can be used in drinking water tanks as well as grey water and fuel tanks. Each box contains the sensor, a flange gasket and five M5×16mm mounting fasteners.
The sensor mounts through the top of the tank with a standard SAE 5-hole flange: the mounting guide shows a Ø36–42mm opening and five M5 holes on a Ø54mm circle, sealed by the supplied gasket. The two wires go to a numbered yellow and green pair on the TVMS Rogue input loom (inputs A1 or A2), and the unused red and black wires of that pair must be insulated individually.
The TVMS Rogue has two analogue sensor inputs, so up to two TLSEN sensors can be connected to one Rogue. Its inputs accept 240–33Ω and 0–190Ω resistive senders and 0–5V or 0.5–4.5V voltage senders, with multi-point calibration of up to 10 points. REDARC recommends installation by a qualified auto electrician.
After wiring, the input is set up as a tank level channel in the REDARC Configurator app, which is used only for installation and initial set-up. Calibration points let the installer match the reading to the shape of the tank. Day-to-day, the level is read in the RedVision user app for iOS and Android over Bluetooth, or on a RedVision DISP4300 display connected to the system.
Yes. REDARC states that the sensor materials are FDA approved and safe for use in drinking water tanks.
Two. The TVMS Rogue has two analogue sensor inputs, which can also be used for temperature or voltage sensing instead.
REDARC specifies the TLSEN sensors for the TVMS Rogue (TVMS1240). The TVMS Prime uses conductive probe tank sensors with its own wiring loom.
