Who we areNew, original Pytes products with full manufacturer warranty, supplied with their documentation.
The V5°α Plus adds an integrated two-pole DC breaker (125V/125A, 10kA breaking capacity) to the V5°α, so each module can be isolated on site and switched off quickly in an emergency. It keeps the 51.2V, 100Ah, 5.12kWh rating, Amphenol SurLok Plus 8.0mm terminals and heating pad, recommends 75A and allows peaks of 121–200A for 15 seconds. The case grows to 484×578.2×140mm with handles and 45.34kg. Up to 16 modules form a group, and Pytes cabinets such as VR-BOX-IC and V-BOX-OC Plus accept it.
The V5 series packs 5.12kWh of lithium iron phosphate (51.2V, 100Ah) into a 140mm-high case that fills 3.2U of a rack, hangs on a wall bracket or stands on the floor. Three versions share BMS and ratings: V5° with Phoenix M6 bolt terminals, V5°α with Amphenol SurLok Plus 8.0mm sockets, and V5°α Plus, which adds a two-pole 125V/125A DC breaker and a 200A peak. Modules are connected only in parallel, keeping the bank at 47.5–57.6V.
Pytes recommends 75A per module for charging and discharging, derated outside a cell temperature of 10–40°C. Short peaks are allowed: 101–120A for three minutes, and 121–180A (V5°, V5°α) or 121–200A (V5°α Plus) for 15 seconds. The cells charge between 0°C and 45°C; an integrated heating pad, active from -18°C to +15°C, warms them by about 10°C per hour. Cycle life is at least 6,000 cycles at 90% depth of discharge, round-trip efficiency at least 95%.
Up to 16 modules form a group of 81.92kWh; six groups can be linked through a Pytes hub for 491.52kWh. Up to three modules parallel with the supplied cables or flexible busbars, larger banks need a busbar or junction box fed with cables of equal length. The manual asks for a 25mm gap between modules, an IP20 indoor location at -10…+50°C and a DC breaker of at least 60V towards the inverter. BK1 and BK2 brackets hold one or two modules on a wall.
The master module talks to the inverter over CAN or RS485, and the others are cascaded through link ports 0 and 1, leaving the outer ports free. A dry contact offers one input and three outputs, and the IoT port accepts the optional Pytes Wi-Fi stick for cloud monitoring and remote firmware upgrades. Pytes lists closed-loop operation with Deye, GoodWe, Hoymiles, Luxpower, SMA, Sol-Ark, Solis, SRNE, Studer, Sunsynk, Victron and Voltronic, among others, selected with the DIP switch.
Both are 51.2V 100Ah modules with Amphenol SurLok Plus 8.0mm terminals. The Plus adds an integrated two-pole 125V/125A DC breaker with 10kA breaking capacity, allows 200A instead of 180A for 15 seconds and measures 484×578.2×140mm at 45.34kg.
The cells accept charge between 0°C and 45°C. Below that, the integrated heating pad works from -18°C to +15°C and raises the cell temperature by about 10°C per hour.
Up to 16 in one group (81.92kWh). With a Pytes hub up to six groups can be combined, 96 modules or 491.52kWh.
No. The Wi-Fi stick is an optional device that plugs into the IoT port and enables remote monitoring and firmware upgrades through the Pytes cloud.
