Who we areNew, original Pylontech products with full manufacturer warranty, supplied with their documentation.
The RMB70100-Pro is the heated 7.5kWh battery module of Pylontech's ReefMagic Pro, rated 73.6V and 102Ah. Thanks to self-heating it charges and discharges from -20°C to +55°C, so it suits unheated outbuildings and cold sites. Modules stack under the RMC1000-Pro control module, two to ten per tower: four modules give 30kWh at 294.4V, ten give 75kWh at 736V. Plan at least three modules for most approved hybrid inverters, together with the RMC1000-Pro control module.
ReefMagic stacks RMB70100 battery modules in series under an RMC1000 control module. Each module stores 7.5kWh at 73.6V and 102Ah, so a tower spans two modules, 15kWh at 147.2V, to ten modules, 75kWh at 736V. Every extra module adds 170mm of height to a 770×380mm footprint, from 550mm with two modules to 1910mm with ten. Up to six towers can be paralleled, which brings a system to 450kWh.
Two versions exist. The standard RMB70100 with RMC1000 charges from 0°C and discharges from -10°C, while the RMB70100-Pro with RMC1000-Pro has self-heating and operates from -20°C to +55°C in both directions, which matters where the battery stands in unheated rooms or outdoors in cold climates.
A tower charges and discharges at 50A normal current, 55A for 15 minutes and 65A for 15 seconds, with 95% depth of discharge. Pylontech states more than 8,000 cycles and a 15-year design life at 25°C. The IP65 enclosure is intended for outdoor installation and resistance to salty air, and each system carries aerosol fire suppression. Modules plug together without internal wiring, and the system is monitored online in real time.
Weights range from 135kg for a two-module tower to 621kg for ten, so the floor must be level and able to carry the full stack. The battery communicates over CAN or Modbus RTU, and Pylontech approves it per inverter model and module count. Many hybrids in the high-voltage compatibility list start at three modules, for example Solis S6-EH3P(12-20)K-H with three to nine, GoodWe ET G2 with three to eight and Sungrow SH5.0-10RT with three to seven.
ReefMagic is not listed for KOSTAL PLENTICORE or SMA Sunny Boy Smart Energy, so those owners should look at Force H3 instead. Pylontech's own FHM hybrid inverters also accept ReefMagic, from two to five modules on the single-phase FHM-5-10K models.
The Pro version uses the RMB70100-Pro module and RMC1000-Pro control module with self-heating, so it charges and discharges from -20°C to +55°C. The standard version charges from 0°C and discharges from -10°C.
No. A tower needs the control module plus at least two battery modules; most approved inverters require three or more.
Ten modules per tower give 75kWh, and up to six towers in parallel reach 450kWh.
Pylontech describes ReefMagic as suitable for outdoor installation, with an IP65 enclosure, resistance to salty air and an optional heated Pro version.
