Who we areNew, original Deye products with full manufacturer warranty, supplied with their documentation.
SUN-M80G4-EU-Q0 is the 800W model of Deye's G4 microinverter series: it connects two PV modules, each on its own MPP tracker, to a single-phase 230V circuit. Each input accepts 13A operating current within a 25–55V tracking range, and Deye gives a PV input power range of 210–560W for the module pair. Built-in Wi-Fi, an IP67 fanless housing at 3kg and AC fast discharge under 100ms make it suited to plug-in balcony systems; up to six units can share one 25A AC branch.
Each microinverter sits behind two PV modules and converts their output into single-phase 230V AC. Every module has its own MPP tracker, with a 25–55V tracking range, 20V start-up and 60V maximum input, so shading or a different orientation on one panel does not affect the other. The three sizes deliver 600, 800 or 1000W, with 96.5% maximum and 96.0% European efficiency. Several units on separate phases can form a three-phase system.
Deye designs the series for quick-plug balcony systems. The AC output discharges in under 100ms when unplugged, below the 200ms limit of DIN VDE V 0126-95, and NS protection with self-check is integrated together with an external relay. The datasheet also lists a rapid-shutdown function. The housing is IP67 with natural cooling and noise of 25dB or less, rated for -40 to 65°C with derating above 45°C. Design lifetime is 25 years and the warranty 15 years.
Deye allows 8 M60, 6 M80 or 5 M100 units per AC branch protected by a 25A breaker, using 2.5mm² (12AWG) AC cable and at most 20m of outside cable. DC cables between module and microinverter must be shorter than 3m. Accessories such as the bus AC connector, T-connectors, extension cables and a cable with European plug are optional; the bus connector and the plug cable cannot be mixed in one project.
Deye states a PV input power range of 210–420W, 210–560W or 210–700W for the two modules of the M60, M80 and M100. Each tracker accepts 13A operating and 19.5A short-circuit current; the -Q0-P version accepts 18A and 27A. The datasheet lists IEC 61727, IEC 62116, CEI 0-21, EN 50549, NRS 097, RD 140, UNE 217002, G98 and VDE-AR-N 4105, and Deye publishes VDE-AR-N 4105 and RED certificates.
The built-in Wi-Fi module connects directly to a home router; where the signal is weak, Deye suggests a Wi-Fi booster between router and microinverter. Production and alarms are then visible per module on the Solarman web portal and mobile app referenced in the manual. A status LED shows start-up and fault codes, and the unit begins exporting about one minute after AC and DC are connected.
Up to six units on a branch protected by a 25A breaker. The M60 allows eight and the M100 five.
Modules whose operating voltage suits the 25–55V MPPT range and 60V maximum input, one per tracker. Deye gives a PV input power range of 210–560W for the two modules of the M80, and module current must stay within 13A (18A on the -P version).
The -Q0-P version accepts higher module currents: 18A operating and 27A short-circuit per input instead of 13A and 19.5A. AC power and other ratings are the same.
No. Wi-Fi is built in and connects to the home router; data is shown in the Solarman web portal and app.
