This set pairs the APsystems EZ1-M microinverter with a 5m power cord (1.5mm², Schuko plug) for plug-in balcony systems. The EZ1-M takes two modules of about 300–730Wp, each on its own MPP tracker with 20A input current, and delivers up to 799VA at 230V; the factory setting may be 600VA and can be set between 30 and 800W in the AP EasyPower app to match national plug-in limits. Built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, an IP67 fanless housing and 2.8kg weight suit balcony railings, gardens, garages and carports.
An EZ1 converts the output of two PV modules into 230V single-phase AC, with an independent MPP tracker per input working between 28 and 45V and a 60V input limit. Each input accepts 20A operating and 25A short-circuit current. The AC side connects through an APsystems power cord with Schuko plug, so the unit can feed a household socket where local rules allow plug-in PV. Peak efficiency is 96.7% and MPPT efficiency 99.5%.
The EZ1-M is rated 799VA and may leave the factory set to 600VA; in the AP EasyPower app the maximum output can be set between 30 and 800W to suit national plug-in rules, such as the 800W limit APsystems cites for Germany. The EZ1-H delivers 960VA for larger modules. APsystems recommends 300–730Wp modules for the EZ1-M and 410–760Wp for the EZ1-H. APsystems publishes datasheets for three AC connector versions (BC01, EP030, Y3), each with its matching power cord.
The EZ1 is meant for balconies, gardens, garages and carports; APsystems excludes rooftop installation and voids the warranty if it is installed on a roof. The unit can be fixed to a balcony wall or tied to a railing, protected from direct rain and UV, with DC leads no longer than 3m. Up to two units can be connected, limited to one in some countries.
For capacity expansion, each input can take two modules in parallel, up to four in total, with APsystems suggesting modules of 450W STC or less. The EZ1-M also works with the battery systems in APsystems' compatibility list, such as Anker E1600 and Sunlit BK215. Listed grid compliances include CEI 0-21, VDE-AR-N 4105, EN 50549-1/-10, UTE C15-712-1 and G98/G99.
Bluetooth allows direct local monitoring and setting with the AP EasyPower app, while Wi-Fi sends data to the cloud for remote access; the app supports up to four EZ1 units per account. A Local API mode lets other devices on the home network read data and control the unit. The 12-year warranty starts after registration in AP EasyPower; unregistered units carry only the 2-year legal warranty.
No. APsystems designs the EZ1 for balcony, garden, garage and carport systems and states that support and warranty are not available for rooftop installations.
It is rated 799VA. The factory setting may be 600VA, and the maximum power can be set in the AP EasyPower app between 30 and 800W according to local plug-in rules.
Yes, up to four: each input can take two modules in parallel. APsystems suggests modules of 450W STC or less for this expansion, wired with 2-to-1 connectors and DC extension cables bought separately.
Yes. The app connects directly over Bluetooth for local monitoring and settings; Wi-Fi is needed only for remote monitoring. Registration in AP EasyPower is required for the 12-year warranty.
