An Italian company selling batteries, inverters and solar equipment since 2015. Registered office in Sigillo (Perugia), VAT IT03894170541.
Who we areNew, original Victron Energy products with full manufacturer warranty, supplied with their documentation.
This listing covers the MultiPlus-II 3000VA in two variants: 12/3000/120-32 for 12V batteries with a 120A charger, and 24/3000/70-32 for 24V with a 70A charger. Both deliver 3000VA (2400W) continuously at 25°C and 5500W peak, with a 32A transfer switch, a 32A AC-out-2 and a 4A starter-battery output, and both weigh 19kg. Victron recommends 400–1200Ah with a 400A DC fuse on 12V and 200–700Ah with a 300A fuse on 24V. ESS grid feed-in is not applicable to the 12V version; grid-code certificates are published for the 24V version.
The MultiPlus-II combines a sine-wave inverter with a mains-frequency isolating transformer, an adaptive four-stage charger and an automatic transfer switch. While grid, shore or generator power is present it supplies the loads and charges the battery; if that supply fails, the loads on AC-out-1 are taken over by the inverter within 20ms. AC-out-2 is live only with AC input present, so loads such as a water heater never discharge the battery.
PowerControl caps the current taken from the grid or a generator; PowerAssist adds battery power when the loads exceed that limit. In grid-parallel systems an external 100A current sensor or an energy meter measures the grid connection, so the unit can maximise self-consumption and, if required, prevent feed-in. For ESS feed-in a country grid code is selected in VEConfigure and then password-protected; ESS does not apply to the 12/3000/120-32.
The classic range covers 3kVA and 5kVA units for 12V, 24V and 48V, plus 48V units of 8kVA, 10kVA and 15kVA with a 100A transfer switch. The newer 12/4k/160-32, 48/4k5/55-32 and 48/6k5/100-50 deliver more power per kilogram, quote time-limited ratings from a cold start (for example 6.5kW for 4h on the 48/6k5) and are rated for up to 4000m altitude with derating above 2000m. The 12V and 24V models have a 4A starter-battery output.
Mount the unit on a solid wall in a dry, ventilated room close to the batteries. Victron's manuals give battery capacity, DC fuse and cable for each model, from 100–400Ah with a 125A fuse for the 48/3000/35-32 to 600–2400Ah with a 600A fuse for the 12/5000/220-50. Victron Lithium Smart batteries need a VE.Bus BMS V2 or Lynx Smart BMS; other lithium batteries follow Victron's battery compatibility list. The temperature sensor is supplied with 12V and 24V models and optional on 48V models.
Up to six identical units can be paralleled on one battery, and three units form a three-phase wye system; delta is not supported. The 8k, 10k and 15k models can only be paralleled with an external AC transfer switch, and paralleled strings of these sizes cannot be combined in three-phase. A system with fixed trip limits must not exceed 30kW on a single point of common connection.
Settings are made with VEConfigure through an MK3-USB interface, or in VictronConnect over Bluetooth with the optional VE.Bus Smart dongle. A GX device such as the Cerbo GX or Ekrano GX connects via VE.Bus and adds the VRM portal, remote configuration and ESS control. The built-in battery monitor can switch the programmable relay to start and stop a generator by state of charge, voltage or load.
They give the rating of the transfer switch, and so the maximum AC input current, in amperes: 32A on the 3kVA, 4k and 4k5 models, 50A on the 5kVA and 6k5 models, 100A on the 8kVA, 10kVA and 15kVA models.
Victron publishes grid-code certificates, such as EN 50549-1, VDE-AR-N 4105, TOR Erzeuger Typ A and C10/11, for the 24/3000, 48/3000, 48/4k5, 48/5000 and 48/6k5 and, separately, for the 48V 8kVA, 10kVA and 15kVA models. ESS feed-in does not apply to the 12/3000/120-32. Check the certificate for your country before installation.
Only in grid-parallel installations, where the internal sensor cannot measure the grid current. The 100A AC current sensor, or an energy meter, is ordered separately.
Only with an external AC transfer switch, as described in Victron's MultiPlus-II external transfer switch application manual. Single units of these sizes can be combined into a three-phase system.
It is supplied with the 12V and 24V models. For 48V models it is optional, article number ASS000001000.
