Who we areNew, original Solplanet products with full manufacturer warranty, supplied with their documentation.
The ASW5120S-HB-E is the expansion (slave) module of the Solplanet Ai-HB G2-E high-voltage battery. Each module adds 5.12kWh and 102.4V nominal at 50Ah, and up to three slaves stack under one ASW5120M-HB-E master module, which is always required. From the datasheet, each slave adds about 285mm of height and 55.5kg to the tower. With three slaves the tower reaches 20.48kWh and 409.6V, delivering 20.48kW at 50A. The module is for indoor floor-standing systems (IP20) and includes its own aerosol fire suppression device.
The Ai-HB G2-E is assembled from 5.12kWh LFP modules rated 50Ah and 102.4V nominal. The ASW5120M-HB-E master module holds the battery control unit, circuit breaker, ON/OFF button and the power and communication terminals, while ASW5120S-HB-E slave modules stack beneath it. A master on its own forms the Ai-HB-E 050A (5.12kWh); with one, two or three slaves the tower becomes the 100A, 150A or 200A version at 204.8, 307.2 or 409.6V nominal.
Every configuration charges and discharges at up to 50A, so continuous power matches the nominal energy figure: 5.12kW for one module up to 20.48kW for a full tower. Usable energy is 90% of nominal, from 4.60 to 18.43kWh. Towers can be connected in parallel, up to eight units and 163.84kWh, by daisy-chaining the master modules; Solplanet allows parallel expansion only between towers of the same series.
The G2-E is an indoor product with IP20 protection. The modules stand on four support legs with a 25–50mm gap to the wall, and the master is secured to the wall with two L-brackets. Solplanet recommends an operating temperature of -20…+50°C, humidity of 5–95% and an altitude below 3000m, away from direct sunlight and flammable materials. The master connects to the inverter BMS port with a shielded CAT5 or better cable.
Solplanet's compatibility list (version 1.10, September 2026) approves the G2-E for the ASW05–12kH-T2 and ASW08–12kH-T3 hybrids, their DG versions and the ASW015–030K-TH series, where it is selected in the app as an Ai-HB G2 battery. Note that a single-module tower operates at 96–115.2V, below the 120V lower battery limit stated in the H-T2, H-T3 and TH datasheets, so confirm one-module systems with Solplanet.
Each battery pack contains a QRR0.03G/S aerosol extinguishing device with a 30g charge: a thermal wire triggers it when a module reaches 185°C and the agent is released within 12 seconds. The BMS covers charge over-voltage, discharge under-voltage, over-current, over-temperature and short circuit. SOC is shown on five LEDs on the master, and after commissioning the battery data are read in the Solplanet App through the inverter.
No. The slave module has no battery control unit: it must be stacked under an ASW5120M-HB-E master module, which manages the tower and connects to the inverter.
Up to three, for a maximum of 20.48kWh nominal and 18.43kWh usable per tower. Larger systems use several towers in parallel, up to eight.
Solplanet specifies the G2-E for indoor installation only; it is rated IP20. Charging is allowed from 0 to 50°C and discharging from -20 to 50°C.
No. The datasheet states that parallel expansion is only supported within models of the same series.
