Who we areNew, original Solplanet products with full manufacturer warranty, supplied with their documentation.
The ASW5120-LB-G3 is the single building block of the Solplanet Ai-LB-G3 low-voltage battery: a 5.12kWh, 51.2V, 100Ah lithium iron phosphate module with its own BMS, 4.86kWh usable. It delivers 60A recommended and 100A maximum current on its own; one to five modules stack in a tower of up to 25.6kWh. The IP66 module measures 630×320×185mm, weighs 46kg and can stand on the floor or hang on a wall, indoors or outdoors. It pairs with Solplanet 48V hybrids such as the ASW H-S2 series.
Each ASW5120-LB-G3 module stores 5.12kWh at a nominal 51.2V (100Ah) and carries its own battery management system. Modules stack on a 2.6kg base with plug-in connections, one to five per tower, for 5.12, 10.24, 15.36, 20.48 or 25.6kWh nominal. Usable energy is 4.86kWh per module at 95% depth of discharge, and the 40–58.4V voltage window matches the 40–60V battery input of Solplanet 48V hybrid inverters.
A single module is rated for 60A recommended and 100A maximum charge or discharge current, which corresponds to 3.07kW rated and 5.12kW maximum power. With two or more modules on one set of output cables the tower is limited to 120A, or 6.14kW. For the ASW SH series the manual shows a second set of output cables for up to 210A, connected through the Sol-CB250-LB combiner box.
Solplanet lists the ASW5120-LB-G3 as compatible with the ASW H-S2 single-phase hybrids, the ASW BH-M2 series and the ASW 008/010K-SH series; check the current compatibility list before ordering. With these inverters the battery works in on-grid, off-grid and backup modes and communicates over CAN through the RJ45 Link Port, while a terminal resistor closes the Link Port In of the lowest module.
The module is rated IP66 and protective class II, so it can be installed indoors or outdoors, standing on the floor or fixed to the wall with the supplied L-brackets. Solplanet asks for a solid support surface such as concrete or masonry, no direct sunlight, an altitude below 4000m and a freely accessible battery circuit breaker. Several towers are joined through the Sol-CB125-LB (H-S2) or Sol-CB250-LB (SH) combiner box, each with three tower inputs.
Charging is allowed from -8 to +58°C and discharging from -18 to +58°C; above 3000m the output is derated. Battery status, SOC and alarms are read in the Solplanet App through the connected inverter, and the app can also switch the module LED indicator between five display modes. Solplanet rates the module for 6000 cycles at 0.5C, 90% depth of discharge and 70% end-of-life capacity, with a round-trip efficiency of at least 95%.
Solplanet's compatibility list (version 1.10, September 2026) names the ASW H-S2, ASW BH-M2 and ASW 008/010K-SH hybrid series. It is a 51.2V battery, so it cannot be used on Solplanet high-voltage hybrids such as the H-T2, H-T3 or TH series.
One to five modules, from 5.12 to 25.6kWh nominal. Further towers are connected through a Sol-CB125-LB or Sol-CB250-LB combiner box, each of which accepts three battery towers.
Yes. It is rated IP66 and approved for indoor and outdoor use. Solplanet recommends avoiding direct sunlight, which raises the internal temperature and can lead to reduced power.
Solplanet's battery warranty terms for the Ai-LB range offer either 10 years standard or 5 years standard plus 5 years extended, depending on the option agreed. The performance warranty sets a minimum throughput of 13.83MWh per ASW5120-LB-G3 module.
