Who we areNew, original Solplanet products with full manufacturer warranty, supplied with their documentation.
The ASW12K-LT-G2 Pro is a 12kW three-phase string inverter in which tracker A takes two strings at up to 32A and tracker B one string at 20A, for up to 18kWp of PV. MPP tracking covers 150–1000V, 400–850V at full power. Maximum output current is 19.1A and maximum efficiency 98.6%. Unlike the smaller models it uses active cooling; the IP66 housing measures 503×435×183mm and weighs 17kg.
The LT-G2 Pro converts the output of two independent PV inputs into three-phase AC (3/N/PE) at 220/380, 230/400 or 240/415V. Both trackers work from 150 to 1000V with a 630V rated input and a 180V feed-in voltage, and the DC side accepts up to 1100V. The 3–6kW models take 16A on each tracker and the 8–10kW models 20A on tracker A, while from 12kW tracker A accepts two strings and 32A.
The array can be oversized to 150% of the AC rating, for example 4.5kWp on the 3kW unit or 18kWp on the 12kW unit. Maximum efficiency is 98.3% on the 3–6kW models and 98.6% from 8kW, with European efficiencies of 97.9% and 98.2%. Night consumption is below 1W. The 3–10kW units are cooled by natural convection, the 12–20kW units by active cooling.
All models share a 503×435×183mm housing, 16kg up to 10kW and 17kg from 12kW, with plug-in DC and AC connectors and a wall bracket. Keep at least 500mm free above and below the inverter and 300mm at the sides, avoid long exposure to sun, rain and snow, and protect each inverter with its own AC circuit breaker. An all-pole sensitive residual current monitoring unit, Type II surge protection and an integrated DC switch are standard; AFCI is optional.
Solplanet publishes a VDE-AR-N 4105 certificate covering the whole 3–20kW range. The datasheets also list CE, EN 50549, C10/C11, AS/NZS 4777 and the IEC 62109, 62116, 61727 and 61683 standards; the 3–10kW datasheet adds G98/G99, VFR 2014 and UTE C15.
A Wi-Fi stick is in the box for monitoring through the Solplanet App and cloud portal, LAN is available and 4G is optional. For zero export or export limitation, an approved smart meter such as the SDM630-Modbus is wired to the 2-pin RS485 port and set to 9600 baud and address 1. Several inverters can share one stick through RS485 daisy-chaining or each use its own stick.
Up to 150% of the rated AC power: 4.5kWp for the ASW3K-LT-G2 Pro, 6kWp for 4K, 7.5kWp for 5K, 9kWp for 6K, 12kWp for 8K, 15kWp for 10K and 18kWp for 12K.
Yes. With an approved Modbus smart meter, for example the SDM630-Modbus, connected to the RS485 port, the inverter controls its output so that the agreed export limit is not exceeded, including zero export.
The 3–10kW models are cooled by natural convection. The 12–20kW models use active cooling.
The manual asks for at least 500mm above and below the inverter and 300mm on each side, for one inverter and between several inverters.
