Who we areNew, original SolaX products with full manufacturer warranty, supplied with their documentation.
The X3-MIC-12K-G2 delivers 12000W rated and 13200VA maximum output on three phases. Its first MPP tracker takes two strings at up to 32A and the second one string at 16A, and SolaX allows up to 24kWp of PV in total. Full power is available between 315V and 800V. SolaX recommends a 25A AC breaker. The 18kg IP66 housing uses smart fan cooling.
The X3-MIC G2 is a transformerless three-phase inverter for TT, TN-S and TN-C-S networks at 220/380V or 230/400V. Up to 10kW each of its two MPP trackers takes one string at 16A; on the 12kW and 15kW models the first tracker takes two strings at 32A, and the same two-string first input is an option on the 10kW. A built-in global MPP scan deals with partial shading.
With a meter, the export control function limits the power fed into the grid. Smart-load management lets the inverter control a heat pump through the SolaX Adapter Box G2 or work with a SolaX EV charger. Parallel operation requires a SolaX DataHub, which supports up to sixty inverters and zero injection with a meter; without a DataHub the X3-MIC G2 cannot be paralleled.
SolaX allows PV arrays of twice the rated power, from 6kWp on the 3kW to 30kWp on the 15kW model, while a single tracker on its own delivers at most 3000W to 8000W depending on model, or 12000W on the 32A input. The MPPT range is 120–980V with a 150V start-up voltage. Maximum efficiency is 98.3%, European efficiency 97.8%, and Type II SPD, AFCI and APS are available as options.
The 3–6kW models measure 342×434×144.5mm, weigh 15.5kg and are naturally cooled below 30dB; the 8–15kW models are 156mm deep, weigh 17–18kg and use smart fan cooling. All are IP66, wall-mounted and rated for -30°C to +60°C. Leave 7cm below the terminals and 35cm between units. SolaX recommends 16A breakers for 3–5kW, 20A for 6–10kW, 25A for 12kW and 32A for 15kW.
An integrated Type B residual current monitoring unit is fitted; where local rules require an external RCD, SolaX recommends Type A with 300mA. Grid standards listed include EN 50549, VDE-AR-N 4105, G98, G99, AS/NZS 4777.2, UTE C15, CEI 0-21 and VFR2019, with safety to IEC/EN 62109-1/-2. SolaX publishes a CEI 0-21 declaration for the X3-MIC G2 series.
Monitoring and remote configuration run on SolaXCloud through an optional SolaX WiFi, LAN or 4G dongle. The inverter has USB, RS485 and DRM interfaces, an LCD panel with keys for local settings and night-time consumption below 3W. Firmware updates are installed from a USB drive, and the export limit is set in the inverter menu.
SolaX allows up to 200% of rated power, for example 8kWp on the 4kW, 12kWp on the 6kW, 20kWp on the 10kW and 30kWp on the 15kW model.
The X3-MIC-12K-G2 and 15K-G2 take two strings at up to 32A on the first tracker; on the 10kW model this input is optional. The other models take one string per tracker at 16A.
Only with a SolaX DataHub, which manages up to sixty inverters and can keep grid injection at zero.
Yes, CEI 0-21 is among the listed grid standards and SolaX publishes a CEI 0-21 declaration for the series.
