Who we areNew, original SolaX products with full manufacturer warranty, supplied with their documentation.
The X1-Micro 1800 converts the output of four PV modules into 1800VA of single-phase AC, with one MPP tracker per module. Each input handles up to 16A and 25A short-circuit current, matching the 400–600W+ modules SolaX lists as typical. Maximum output current is 7.83A at 230V, so the datasheet allows three units per 10AWG branch or two per 12AWG branch at that voltage. It shares the 322×242×48.5mm, 6.2kg IP67 housing and built-in WiFi of the series.
Each X1-Micro 4 in 1 is mounted under the PV modules and serves four of them, with an independent MPP tracker per input. A shaded or faulty module therefore does not drag down the other three, and the DC side stays at module level, below 60V, rather than the several hundred volts of a string system. The unit converts DC into grid-compatible single-phase AC and reports voltage, current and power of every input.
Several units are chained on the SolaX AC trunk cable, and one AC branch may combine 1 in 1, 2 in 1 and 4 in 1 microinverters as long as the total current stays within the branch capacity set by local rules. The series supports 220V, 230V and 240V grids, AC coupling with an existing storage system, reactive power control and distribution of single-phase units across a three-phase network.
The microinverter is fixed to the mounting rail with sliding blocks, parallel to the rail and beneath the modules, away from direct sun, rain and snow. It is earthed either by its earth lug touching an earthed rail or with a PE conductor clamped to the rail. The AC trunk cable uses three-core 4–6mm² flexible wire, unused trunk ports must be closed with end caps, and the number of units per branch depends on model and conductor size.
The housing measures 322×242×48.5mm, weighs 6.2kg and is rated IP67 with natural convection cooling. The manual gives an operating range of -40°C to +65°C with derating above 45°C. Listed grid standards include IEC 61727, IEC 62116, EN 50549, VDE 4105, UNE 217001/217002 and RD244/647, and SolaX publishes a CEI 0-21 declaration covering the X1-Micro 1300 to 2400.
Communication runs through a built-in industrial-grade WiFi module, and data reach SolaXCloud through the site's router. Commissioning is done in the SolaXCloud app: create the site, scan the QR code on the microinverter, enter the WiFi credentials and connect to the device hotspot to configure the network. Owners and installers can then view real-time and historical module data and change settings remotely from a computer, iOS or Android device.
Four, each on its own MPPT input with a 22–60V operating range and 60V maximum input voltage.
It depends on model, voltage and cable. At 230V SolaX gives 4 units per 10AWG branch and 3 per 12AWG for the X1-Micro 1600, and 3 and 2 for the X1-Micro 1800; local regulations take precedence.
Yes. The units are single-phase, and SolaX supports distributing them across the phases of a three-phase network; the manual includes a 230V three-phase wiring diagram.
Yes. SolaX lists a rapid shutdown function and an integrated safety protection relay for the X1-Micro 4 in 1 series.
