Who we areNew, original SolaX products with full manufacturer warranty, supplied with their documentation.
The X1-IES-3.7K provides 3680VA rated and maximum output on a single-phase grid, with 7360VA maximum AC input. It has two MPP trackers with 20A each, accepts up to 7.4kWp of PV and charges one to four TP-HS50E modules (5.1–20.4kWh) through the TBMS-MCS0800E BMS at up to 50A. During a power cut the EPS output carries 3680VA continuously and twice that for 10 seconds.
X1-IES is the single-phase member of SolaX's IES all-in-one family. The inverter is mounted on top of a stack formed by the TBMS-MCS0800E BMS, one to four TP-HS50E battery modules and a base, so PV, battery and backup share one plug-and-play tower. With one module the system stores 5.1kWh; with four it reaches 20.4kWh, of which 90% is usable.
The inverter works in Self Use, Feed-in Priority, Backup or Manual mode when the grid is present and switches its EPS output to off-grid supply in less than 10ms during a power cut. It supports smart load management, for example for a heat pump or EV charger, generator integration, microgrid operation and SolaX's VPP functions.
The 2.5, 3 and 3.7kW models have two MPP trackers; the 5, 6 and 8kW models have three. Each tracker takes 20A (30A short-circuit) for high-current modules, and SolaX allows PV arrays up to twice the rated power, for example 16kWp on the 8kW model. The PV input accepts up to 600V, tracks between 40V and 560V and starts at 50V.
The battery port works from 80V to 480V at up to 50A. EPS output equals the rated power and can deliver twice that for 10 seconds. Maximum efficiency is 97.6% and European efficiency 97.0%. Type II surge protection is fitted on the AC and DC sides, and arc-fault detection (AFCI) is optional.
The inverter measures 730×350×210mm and weighs 26.2–26.4kg; a complete one-module tower is 730×908×210mm. IP66 and an operating range of -35°C to +60°C (derating above 45°C) allow outdoor installation. For two towers SolaX asks for at least 30cm between systems and 30cm to the ceiling. Up to two inverters can run in parallel, and the optional X1-Matebox G2 integrates switches and a bidirectional meter.
Grid certifications include VDE-AR-N 4105, VDE 0126-1-1, EN 50549, G98, G99, AS 4777 and CEI 0-21, with safety to IEC 62109-1 and -2. SolaX publishes a CEI 0-21 certificate for the X1-IES models with the TP-HS50E battery for Italy. Protections cover overvoltage, DC reverse polarity, residual current and over-temperature.
Set-up runs on the LCD or through the SolaX app. A Pocket monitoring dongle connects the system to SolaXCloud for app and web monitoring and remote firmware updates. Interfaces include RS485, CAN, a digital input and output and the Pocket-X port. Night-time consumption is below 40W in hot standby and below 5W in cold standby.
No. The inverter is combined with a TBMS-MCS0800E BMS, one to four TP-HS50E modules and a base, which are ordered separately.
The 5kW, 6kW and 8kW models have three trackers; the 2.5kW, 3kW and 3.7kW models have two. All take 20A per tracker.
SolaX gives a maximum recommended array of twice the rated power: 5kWp on the 2.5kW model up to 16kWp on the 8kW model.
Yes. CEI 0-21 is listed among its certifications, and SolaX publishes a CEI 0-21 certificate for the X1-IES with the TP-HS50E battery.
