An Italian company selling batteries, inverters and solar equipment since 2015. Registered office in Sigillo (Perugia), VAT IT03894170541.
Who we areNew, original SMA products with full manufacturer warranty, supplied with their documentation.
The STP6.0-3SE-40 delivers 6kW three-phase from a PV array of up to 9kWp, split over two MPP trackers of 5.4kW and 12.5A each with a 250–800V MPP range. Its battery input charges at up to 9kW and discharges at 7.2kW. During a grid outage it supplies 6kW in three-phase backup, 2000W on a single phase, with 7.2kW available for five minutes and 10kW for ten seconds.
Sunny Tripower Smart Energy is a transformerless hybrid inverter with two MPP trackers and one DC-coupled input for a high-voltage lithium-ion battery. It feeds PV power into the battery or into the three-phase grid and discharges the battery into the household. In systems with additional PV inverters it can also charge the battery from their AC output. An SMA Energy Meter (EMETER-20) or Sunny Home Manager 2.0 at the grid connection point is required for operation.
The four sizes accept up to 7.5, 9, 12 and 15kWp of PV at up to 1000V, with 12.5A per input; the 10kW model takes two strings and 25A on input B. The battery input covers 150–600V at 30A, with charge power of 7.5–10.6kW depending on model. When backup is enabled, loads on the AC-BACKUP terminal stay supplied in a three-phase off-grid network during outages, up to the rated power, with short overload reserves and an adjustable switching time of 30ms to 10s.
The 500×598×173mm IP65 enclosure suits indoor and outdoor walls, with external terminals: SUNCLIX for PV, MC4 for the battery (3m cable included) and a plug-in AC connector for 1.5–10mm². No external RCD is needed; where local rules require one, use type A rated at least 100mA, one per inverter. Approved batteries include SMA Home Storage (6.5–16.4kWh), BYD Battery-Box Premium HVS/HVM, HVS+, HVM+ and HVB, LG RESU FLEX, BMZ Hyperion, IBC era:powerbase, AXITEC AXIstorage Li SH and Varta.wall.
Commissioning runs through the integrated web interface or SMA 360° App over Wi-Fi or Ethernet, and the system appears in Sunny Portal and the SMA Energy App. SMA Smart Connected monitors the inverter and reports faults to the installer. Modbus (SMA and SunSpec), five digital inputs and a multifunction relay are available. SMA lists CEI 0-21 with internal or external interface protection, VDE-AR-N 4105, EN 50549-1, C10/11 and G98/G99. Warranty extends from 5 to 10 years with registration.
Yes, it can operate as a PV-only inverter and a battery can be added later. An SMA Energy Meter or Sunny Home Manager 2.0 is still required at the grid connection point.
SMA approves SMA Home Storage from 6.5kWh to 16.4kWh, i.e. two to five HS-BM-3.28-10 modules. A single 3.2kWh module is not compatible because its voltage is below the inverter's battery range.
Yes. In backup mode the inverter forms a three-phase 230/400V network for the loads on its AC-BACKUP terminal; the backup function is disabled by default and is enabled in the user interface.
SMA lists CEI 0-21 with internal and external interface protection among its certificates and publishes a CEI 0-21 certificate of conformity for all four models.
Not for the inverter itself, thanks to the integrated all-pole-sensitive residual current monitoring. If local rules require one, use a type A RCD of at least 100mA for each inverter.
