An Italian company selling batteries, inverters and solar equipment since 2015. Registered office in Sigillo (Perugia), VAT IT03894170541.
Who we areNew, original SMA products with full manufacturer warranty, supplied with their documentation.
A residential single-phase kit of 4.72kWp with the SMA Sunny Boy 3.6 (SB3.6-1AV-41) and DC and AC protection boxes. The inverter delivers 3680W, accepts up to 5500Wp of PV and has two independent MPP inputs, so two roof faces can be used. WLAN and Speedwire/Webconnect are built in for local access and Sunny Portal monitoring, and the convection-cooled IP65 enclosure runs at 25dB(A) typical.
The kit pairs a 4.72kWp PV array with an SMA Sunny Boy 3.6, the SB3.6-1AV-41, plus DC and AC protection boxes. It is a grid-tied system without battery: the house uses the solar energy first and exports the surplus. SMA allows up to 5500Wp of PV on this inverter, and its two independent MPP inputs, each taking two strings, let the array be split over two roof faces.
The Sunny Boy 3.6 accepts up to 600V, starts feeding at 125V and tracks between 130 and 500V, with 15A per input and 20A short-circuit current. It delivers 3680W at 230V and 50Hz with 16A rated current. The operating manual gives 97.0% maximum and 96.5% European weighted efficiency, 5W night-time consumption and an all-pole sensitive residual current monitoring unit with SMA Grid Guard 10.0 grid monitoring.
The inverter measures 435×470×176mm, weighs 17.5kg, is rated IP65 and cooled by convection, with 25dB(A) typical noise, so it can be mounted outdoors or in living areas. SMA specifies -25…+60°C and up to 3000m. DC connection uses SUNCLIX connectors and a DC load-break switch is integrated. The installer adds mounting structure, cabling, AC breaker sizing and the grid connection request; the protection boxes in the kit cover the DC and AC side.
WLAN, SMA Speedwire/Webconnect and RS485 are standard, so the inverter's user interface can be reached over WLAN and its data sent to Sunny Portal without extra hardware. Power control and demand response can be handled through the Modbus interface. SMA publishes EN 50549 and VDE-AR-N 4105 certificates and an EU declaration of conformity for the SBxx-1AV-41 series.
SMA gives a maximum PV array power of 5500Wp for the Sunny Boy 3.6, so there is limited room above the 4.72kWp supplied, subject to voltage and current limits.
No. WLAN and Speedwire/Webconnect are built in, and data can be sent to Sunny Portal.
Not on this inverter, which has no battery input; storage would require an AC-coupled battery inverter.
The Sunny Boy has an integrated DC load-break switch, and the kit includes DC and AC protection boxes.
