Who we areNew, original Sigenergy products with full manufacturer warranty, supplied with their documentation.
The SigenStor EC 3.0 SP is a single-phase energy controller with 3kW nominal and 3.3kVA maximum output, designed to sit on one to six SigenStor BAT modules as a compact home storage system. Two MPP trackers accept up to 6kW of PV between 50 and 550V, with 98.0% maximum and 97.0% European efficiency. With a Sigen Gateway it supplies backup loads with 0ms switchover and 6kW for 10 seconds. It weighs 18kg, cools by natural convection and needs a 25A AC switch rated at least 240V.
SigenStor EC single-phase controllers combine PV inverter, battery converter and energy management in one unit that sits directly on top of one to six SigenStor BAT modules. The 3.0–6.0 SP models are used together with PV modules and SigenStor BAT as a single storage system for homes on 220, 230 or 240V supplies, and an optional Sigen EV DC charging module can be added to the stack.
Backup requires a Sigen Gateway single-phase unit: it switches loads with 0ms disruption, cuts smart loads such as heat pumps or immersion heaters when the battery runs low, and can work with a diesel generator. Off-grid the EC delivers twice its nominal power for 10 seconds. A Sigen power sensor at the grid point enables zero export and is not needed in whole-home backup layouts.
The 3.0–6.0 SP accept PV power up to twice their rating, for example 6kW on the 3.0 SP, on two MPP trackers with one 16A string each. The MPPT range is 50–550V with 100V start-up and 600V maximum input, which suits short strings on small roofs. Maximum efficiency is 98.0% and European efficiency 97.0–97.4%. Protection includes residual current and insulation monitoring, type II DC/AC surge arresters and, on some models, AFCI.
The 700×300×245mm controller weighs 18kg, is cooled by natural convection and rated IP66 for -30 to +60°C up to 4,000m. Up to six battery modules can stand on the floor, or two on a wall. Sigenergy recommends an AC switch of at least 240V rated 25A for 3.0–4.0kW or 40A for 4.6–6.0kW, and supports TN-S, TN-C, TN-C-S and TT earthing. Certificates cover CEI 0-21, VDE-AR-N 4105, EN 50549-1 and C10/11 for the 3.0–6.0 SP.
The system connects through WLAN on 2.4GHz, Fast Ethernet, RS485 or a Sigen CommMod 4G module. In the mySigen app the owner selects self-consumption, time-based control, full feed-in, Sigen AI or remote EMS modes, sets a backup reserve and can cap grid import with peak shaving. Up to 20 SigenStor units can be cascaded where more power or storage is needed.
No. The SigenStor EC is specified for use with PV modules and SigenStor BAT; one to six modules are stacked under it.
Only for backup. Whole-home or partial backup needs a Sigen Gateway single-phase unit, while a system without backup uses a Sigen power sensor at the grid connection point for zero export.
Yes. Sigenergy publishes a CEI 0-21 certificate, in English and Italian, covering SigenStor EC 3.0 to 6.0 SP.
Up to twice the nominal power: 6kW on the 3.0 SP up to 12kW on the 6.0 SP, with 600V maximum input voltage.
