Overview
Jupiter A without battery is the 12V upright power pack for 4WD canopies and vans, ready to connect to an existing or separately supplied lithium bank. In one stainless steel case of 750×750×160mm it combines a Victron MultiPlus Compact 2,000VA inverter/charger, a 50A Orion XS DC-DC for smart alternators, an MPPT 100/30, a Cerbo-S GX with 5-inch touch display and 12 channels of STAR-Light switching. The battery connects through Amphenol plug-in cables.

What is inside
Jupiter A is an upright pack in a stainless steel case of 750×750×160mm that brings together, pre-wired, the 12V power system of a 4WD canopy or van. It contains a Victron MultiPlus Compact 2,000VA inverter/charger with PowerAssist and a 30A transfer switch, an Orion XS 50A DC-DC charger, an MPPT 100/30 solar charge controller, a Cerbo-S GX with GX Touch 50 display, a SmartShunt battery monitor and a Smart BatteryProtect.
The DC-DC charger separates the starter battery from the service battery and suits smart alternators: it detects when the engine is running and only draws power then, with no extra wiring. It charges in four stages, bulk, absorption, float and storage, with adjustable current, low-temperature shutdown and input-voltage lock-out; with a CAN battery, DVCC lets the battery set charge voltage and current.
Switching and outlets
Twelve 10A channels of STAR-Light digital switching, eight of them dimmable, are operated from an 8-button backlit keypad and can drive dual-colour or RGBW LEDs. The front panel carries a double 240V outlet with an extra button for inverter remote on/off, USB-A and USB-C ports and cigarette-lighter sockets; Anderson outputs serve fridges and compressors, and Amphenol connectors take the battery and alternator cables.
Monitoring and settings
The system is configured and monitored with Victron tools: VictronConnect over Bluetooth, the GX Touch display and the VRM portal when the Cerbo-S GX has internet access. Bluetooth Ruuvi temperature sensors and Safiery STAR-Tank radar tank sensors can be added and shown on the display, and Safiery Solid State batteries connect over CAN so their cell data appears on the Victron screen.

Is a battery included?
Jupiter A is offered without battery or with a 200Ah semi-solid-state lithium battery included.
Does it work with smart alternators?
Yes. The 50A DC-DC charger detects when the engine is running and only charges while the alternator supplies power, with no extra ignition wiring.
Can the system be monitored remotely?
Yes, through Victron's VRM portal when the Cerbo-S GX has an internet connection; Safiery offers an optional modem.
What warranty applies?
The manual lists 5 years for Victron electronic products and 2 years for Safiery sensors, electronic and electrical products.
