Overview

A pallet of 36 HD Hyundai HeteroMax HiT-H500CF-BF(ZB) modules, 18kWp in total. The 108-cell heterojunction module measures 1,961×1,134×30mm and weighs 27.6kg, with 2.0mm toughened glass on both faces and a black frame. It delivers 500Wp at 22.4% efficiency, 40.63V Voc and 15.09A Isc, and 560Wp at BNPI rear irradiance thanks to 90±5% bifaciality. The -0.24%/°C coefficient and 30-year product warranty suit residential and commercial roofs in hot climates.

Two HeteroMax versions

HeteroMax is HD Hyundai Energy Solutions' residential line built on n-type heterojunction (HJT) half-cut cells. The CF-BF(ZB) series uses 108 cells in a 1,961×1,134×30mm module of 27.6kg, with 2.0mm toughened glass front and rear and a black frame; it is bifacial with 90±5% bifaciality and covers 500–520Wp. The LE-FB(ZB) series uses 96 cells in 1,762×1,134×30mm at 21kg, with 1.6mm glass on both faces, in a full-black design for 450–470Wp.

Electrical behaviour

Heterojunction cells give both series a low Pmax temperature coefficient of -0.24%/°C, with -0.22%/°C for Voc and 0.04%/°C for Isc, and a nominal module operating temperature of 44±2°C. Power tolerance is 0 to +5W. Both are rated for 1500V DC systems with a maximum reverse current of 30A and an IP68 three-part junction box with three bypass diodes, 4mm² cables of 1,250mm and original Stäubli MC4 or MC4-EVO2A connectors.

Installation notes from the manual

HD Hyundai's 2026 HJT installation manual asks for at least 10cm between frame and roof or wall when mounted parallel to it, at least 10mm between adjacent modules and a tilt of at least 10°. Clamp mounting needs at least four clamps per module, and M8 mounting bolts are tightened to 16–20Nm (M6: 9–12Nm). Between 50m and 500m from the sea, connectors must be protected with dust plugs until they are mated.

Following IEC 61730, module Voc and Isc are multiplied by 1.25 when sizing cable, fuses and other components, and only modules with the same current rating should be connected in series. The CE certificate of conformity covers both the HiT-HxxxCF-BF(ZB) and HiT-HxxxLE-FB(ZB) types, tested to EN IEC 61730.

Warranty

HD Hyundai's limited warranty (July 2026) names both CF-BF(ZB) and LE-FB(ZB) types and covers 30 years against defects in materials and workmanship. The datasheets give a 30-year performance warranty with at most 1% degradation in the first year and 0.3 percentage points a year after that, so that 90.3% of nominal power is guaranteed at year 30.
