Who we areNew, original Haier products with full manufacturer warranty, supplied with their documentation.
The HV5120-S1-N is the building block of Haier's NAHUI NHS-1Y high-voltage storage: an LFP pouch-cell module with 5.12kWh nominal and 4.86kWh usable energy at 102.4V. Two to five modules in series under an SHB1000PRO-N control box form systems from 10.24kWh (204.8V) to 25.6kWh (512V), with 25A charge and 40A discharge current. Each IP65 module is 636mm wide, 330mm deep and 188mm high and weighs about 45kg; a single module cannot operate without the control box.
An NHS system combines a base, a stack of HV5120-S1-N modules connected in series and an SHB1000PRO-N control box with integrated BMS. Each module contains 32 LFP pouch cells in series (102.4V, 5.12kWh, 4.86kWh usable at 95% DoD). The datasheet covers two to five modules: NHS-1Y10K (204.8V, 10.24kWh) up to NHS-1Y25K (512V, 25.6kWh); the manual describes stacks of up to eight modules and up to eight cabinets in parallel.
Charge current is limited to 25A and discharge current to 40A, depending on temperature and SOC. The BMS manages charging, cell balancing and protections against over- and undervoltage, overcurrent, temperature, short circuit and insulation faults; module addresses are set automatically.
Each module is 636mm wide, 330mm deep and 188mm high and weighs about 45kg; a two-module system is 636×330×628mm and 117kg, a five-module system 1192mm high and 261kg. The base is screwed to the wall with M6 anchors and the control box fixed above the stack. The IP65 enclosure is for indoor or outdoor use, never upside down or on its side, and the manual asks for at least 300mm on the sides, 1000mm in front and a breaker between battery and inverter.
The installation area should stay between 0°C and 45°C, at least 2m from heat sources and 0.5m from the inverter air outlet, out of direct sunlight and on a flat, level floor. No forced ventilation is required, but the manual advises against closed rooms and asks for humidity of 85% or less.
The control box communicates with the inverter over CAN or RS485 and with further racks through a parallel COM port; Wi-Fi and Bluetooth link it to the NAHUI app. The manual asks for connection only to a specified matching inverter whose ratings fit the stack voltage. The START button wakes the system; held for more than 10 seconds it black-starts the inverter from the battery when PV and grid are absent.
At least two. The datasheet lists two to five HV5120-S1-N modules (10.24–25.6kWh); each stack also needs the SHB1000PRO-N control box and base.
No. The modules are connected in series under a control box, and the smallest listed system is NHS-1Y10K with two modules.
4.86kWh, which is 95% of the 5.12kWh nominal capacity.
Yes. Holding the START button for more than 10 seconds starts the battery and powers the inverter when both PV and grid are unavailable.
