Who we areNew, original GoodWe products with full manufacturer warranty, supplied with their documentation.
The GW29.9K-ET is the largest model of the ET 15–30kW range in the EMEA datasheet, rated 29.9kW on the grid side with up to 45kW of PV over three 30A MPP trackers. Two 50A battery inputs allow 30kW of charging and discharging, and the backup port supplies 29.9kVA, or 36kVA for 60 seconds, with up to 10kW per phase. Weight is 54kg in a 520×660×220mm IP66 housing.
The ET 15–30kW series is GoodWe's larger three-phase hybrid platform for 380/400V grids. One inverter manages the PV array, a high-voltage battery and the grid connection, giving priority to self-consumption and storing surplus energy. The GW20K-ET has one battery input, while the GW25K-ET and GW29.9K-ET have two independent 50A inputs, so two battery stacks can be connected and charged at up to 25 or 30kW.
When the grid fails the BACK-UP port switches over in under 10ms and keeps supplying three-phase loads at the rated power. A short-term overload helps start motors and pumps: the GW20K-ET reaches 24kVA for 60 seconds and 32kVA for 3 seconds. Unbalanced loads are allowed up to 6.7kW, 8.3kW or 10kW per phase depending on the model.
Each MPP tracker accepts two strings and 30A (38A short-circuit), which suits high-current modules, and the array can be oversized to 150% of the rated output at up to 1000V. Operating modes cover self-consumption, backup, time-of-use, delayed charging for export limits, demand control and off-grid. Protection includes string current monitoring, a DC switch, Type II DC and Type III AC surge arresters, with AFCI as an option.
A GM3000 smart meter with fixed 120A/40mA CTs is supplied with the inverter; a GM330 with separate CTs is the alternative for larger connections. Up to four inverters with the same AC voltage can be paralleled. Recommended breakers range from 40A to 63A on the grid side, depending on model and backup use. The unit is wall-mounted, weighs 48–54kg and is cooled by smart fans.
GoodWe lists Lynx Home F and F G2, Lynx D, Lynx D G2, the Lynx C 60kWh cabinet and BAT-AC series batteries, plus third-party models such as BYD Battery-Box Premium HVS and HVM, each with minimum firmware. A CEI 0-21 certificate covers the series with Lynx F, Lynx F G2, Lynx C, Lynx D, BYD HVM, Pylontech Force H1/H2 and BAT-AC batteries; CEI 0-16 is certified too.
Local set-up runs through the SolarGo app over Bluetooth, and remote monitoring through the SEMS+ portal over Wi-Fi or LAN. The inverter talks to the battery BMS over RS485 or CAN and to the meter over RS485. In parallel systems the master unit is fitted with an Ezlink3000 stick, and GoodWe publishes a separate instruction for parallel system composition.
Each input handles 50A, so two battery stacks can be connected and the inverter can charge and discharge at its full 25kW or 30kW. The GW20K-ET has one 50A input for up to 20kW.
Yes. The user manual states that a GM3000 meter with non-replaceable 120A/40mA CTs is supplied with the inverter. A GM330 meter with nA/5A CTs can be used instead on larger connections.
The backup port provides the rated power continuously and a short-term overload: 24kVA for 60s and 32kVA for 3s on the GW20K-ET, 30kVA for 60s on the GW25K-ET and 36kVA for 60s on the GW29.9K-ET, when PV and battery power are sufficient.
GoodWe publishes certificates for VDE-AR-N 4105, EN 50549-1, EN 50549-2, NC RfG, CEI 0-21 and CEI 0-16 (with listed batteries) and RD 647, among others. The documents are linked below.
