Who we areNew, original FoxESS products with full manufacturer warranty, supplied with their documentation.
The H3-Pro-29.9 provides 29.9kW with apparent power capped at 29.9kVA, useful where the approved connection power stays below 30kVA. It accepts up to 60kWp of PV on three dual-string trackers, 15kW recommended per tracker, and two 50A battery inputs of 150–800V, with at least 330V needed for full output on battery. Backup output reaches 30kVA and 36kVA for 60 seconds. CEI 0-21, CEI 0-16 and VDE-AR-N 4105 certificates name this model.
The H3-Pro converts PV, battery and grid power on a three-phase, five-wire connection. Three MPP trackers each take two strings of up to 16A, between 150V and 850V, and accept 7.5–15kW of DC per tracker depending on model. Two separate battery inputs, BAT1 and BAT2, each handle 50A between 150V and 800V, so two battery towers can be connected and managed over CAN. The EPS output keeps backup loads running with a switchover below 10ms.
Work modes are self-use, feed-in priority, backup and peak shaving with an import limit and threshold SOC; grid-charging time windows can be added to any mode. A second meter can record another generation system on site, and dry-contact logic with an ATS can start a diesel generator by battery SOC.
PV array power can reach twice the rated output, up to 60kWp on the 30kW sizes. The EPS port supplies the full rated power, with 120% for 60 seconds. FoxESS rates maximum efficiency at 97.1–97.2%, European efficiency at 96.3–96.6% and PV-to-battery efficiency at 98.1%. The 24.9kW and 29.9kW models cap apparent power at their rated value, whereas the 25kW and 30kW models allow 10% more. AFCI, a DC switch and string monitoring are optional.
The 600×560×225mm, 52.5kg inverter is wall-mounted, IP65, with 500mm free on every side. FoxESS specifies 10mm² battery cable and AC micro-breakers of 50A for 15kW, 63A for 20–25kW and 80A for 29.9–30kW, on both grid and EPS sides. The neutral must be connected or the inverter reports a bus fault. Off-grid operation requires at least 150V at the battery, grid-tied operation at least 120V.
For Italy, FoxESS publishes a CEI 0-21 certificate covering the whole H3-Pro and AC3-Pro family and a CEI 0-16 certificate, and its Italian declarations list ECS, EQ4800 and EP batteries as compatible storage. DEKRA certificates cover EN 50549-1 and EN 62109-1/2, and VDE-AR-N 4105 unit and NS-protection certificates are available.
A meter is supplied in the box and the Wi-Fi/LAN module connects the inverter to the FoxCloud app and web portal. Further interfaces include RS485, Ethernet, DRM, SG Ready and USB. Up to ten inverters can run in parallel on grid or four off grid; parallel units must be of the same type and power, a FoxESS AI-Link is mandatory, and cable lengths to the common grid and load points must be equal.
The H3-Pro has two independent battery inputs, BAT1 and BAT2, each with 50A and a CAN connection. Use FoxESS batteries listed for the inverter, for example EP or EQ4800 systems from FoxESS's Italian declarations.
The H3-Pro-29.9 is capped at 29.9kVA apparent power while the H3-Pro-30.0 delivers up to 33kVA; choose according to the power approved for the grid connection.
Yes. FoxESS provides a CEI 0-21 certificate covering H3-Pro-10.0 to H3-Pro-30.0 and a CEI 0-16 certificate for medium-voltage connections.
Yes. With an ATS and the dry-contact input, the inverter can start a diesel generator below a set SOC and stop it above another, optionally charging the battery.
