Overview

The inverter-plus-storage set without PV modules, for anyone who already has panels on the roof or buys them separately. The Felicity IVGM8KLP1G1 8kW single-phase hybrid inverter and the 14.3kWh FLA48280TG2-EU battery talk over native CAN with no protocol to configure. The inverter stays ready for 12kW of PV on two trackers, works on-grid, off-grid and as a UPS, and switches to the backup circuit in under 10ms; the floor-standing battery on wheels can be paralleled up to fifteen units. Grid-side protection is not included.

How the kits are built

The combinations follow Felicity's official datasheets: each inverter is paired with batteries whose current and voltage fit its battery input, and the 50kW kit with 61.44kWh is the system Felicity itself publishes. The PV versions add Trina Solar Vertex S+ 505W modules in strings sized for the inverter, plus the AC and DC protection boxes.

Low or high voltage

The 48V kits use floor-standing Felicity batteries that can be paralleled up to fifteen units, so storage grows one battery at a time. Above twenty kilowatts the high-voltage kits run at 614.4V: the same power flows with a quarter of the current, with heated IP65 modules in the 30kW kit and a rack cabinet in the 50kW kit.
