FLH96050SMG1 is the 5.12kWh, 102.4V battery module of the first-generation FLH96050SG1 high-voltage system. Two to six modules stack in series on the pedestal under an FLH96050SCG1 control unit, producing 204.8–614.4V and 10.24–30.72kWh per tower. Each module weighs 57.5kg, measures 600×385×260mm and is sealed to IP65. The tower supplies 50A continuously and 60A for 15s, and published documents include CE-EMC and conformity certificates for the module.
An FLH96050 tower stands on a pedestal against the wall and stacks two to six battery modules in series, with the high-voltage control unit placed on top. Each module holds 32 LFP cells of 50Ah and adds 5.12kWh and 102.4V, so a tower ranges from 10.24kWh at 204.8V to 30.72kWh at 614.4V. The control unit carries the BMS, breaker, fuse, LCD touch screen and the inverter terminals, and the datasheet lists inverter interface protection among its functions.
Two generations exist. G1 uses FLH96050SCG1 control units and FLH96050SMG1 modules; G2 uses FLH96050SCG2 or SCG2-H control units with FLH96050SMG2 or SMG2-H modules. The G2 datasheet adds module addressing, a 12V debug port, an integrated grounding layer, balancing between new and old modules and up to 16 towers in parallel.
Every tower delivers 25A recommended and 50A maximum continuous current, with 60A for 15s on G1. Cycle life is at least 6,000 cycles under the datasheet test conditions. G2 towers are specified at 90% depth of discharge, giving 9.21kWh usable from two modules and 27.64kWh from six. The -H version of G2 integrates heating and can charge and discharge from -20°C to +55°C, while non-heated versions charge from 0°C.
The IP65 enclosures allow indoor or outdoor installation as long as the site is shielded from direct sunlight, wind, conductive dust and corrosive gases, below 2000m and away from the sea. The pedestal must sit level against the wall with its arrow facing outward, the hole positions of stacked modules must line up and an anti-tipping bracket secures the tower. Several towers are connected to the inverter in parallel and switched on one by one.
Communication with the inverter is RS485 or CAN, and the manufacturer states compatibility with leading inverter brands without publishing a list in the manuals; the tower operating voltage, from 192V with two G1 modules up to 691.2V with six, must suit the battery input of the chosen inverter. Built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on the control unit report data to the Fsolar app.
The touch screen shows summary data for the whole parallel system, including total state of charge, current, number of paralleled towers and heating state, plus cell voltages and temperatures for every module. On -H systems the heating can run in immediate mode, triggered only by minimum cell temperature, or strategic mode with an SOC threshold and allowed time window, powered either by the battery itself or by the inverter.
At least two and at most six modules per control unit, giving 10.24kWh to 30.72kWh.
Yes, up to six per tower. The G2 system supports balancing between new and old modules; the G1 manual advises against mixing old and new batteries.
The enclosure is IP65 and the manuals allow outdoor installation in a location shielded from direct sunlight, wind, dust and corrosive gases.
A heating function, configurable on the control unit, that allows charging and discharging down to -20°C.
