Overview

SUN-100K-G03 delivers 100kW (110kVA maximum) to a three-phase 230/400V grid from six MPP trackers, each with four strings at up to 40A and 1000V, for up to 150kW of PV input power. It reaches 98.8% maximum and 98.2% European efficiency. Deye recommends 70mm² copper AC cable and a 35mm² earth conductor. The 81kg housing is IP65, string monitoring and an anti-PID module are optional, and Deye's CEI 0-21 and CEI 0-16 certificates cover the model.

How it works

The G03 series converts large PV arrays into three-phase power for 220/380V or 230/400V grids without a transformer. The 70, 75 and 80kW models have four MPP trackers and the 90, 100 and 110kW models six, each tracker taking four strings at up to 40A operating and 60A short-circuit current. Input voltage is up to 1000V with 250V start-up and a 200–850V tracking range. Maximum efficiency is 98.7% (98.1% European) on the smaller models and 98.8% (98.2%) on the larger ones.

Key features

Export limitation down to zero works with a smart meter on the RS485 port, and Deye lists a VSG application and a wide output voltage range of 0.85–1.1Un. Type II surge protection on DC and AC, a DC switch, residual current detection and insulation monitoring are built in; AFCI, string-level intelligent monitoring, an anti-PID module that repairs PID effect at night and an LCD night power supply are options, the last two not combinable.

Installation and compatibility

The 81kg inverter (824×516×312.7mm) is wall-mounted vertically or tilted back by up to 15°, with at least 500mm between units. Deye recommends copper AC cables of 35mm² for 70–75kW, 50mm² for 80–90kW and 70mm² for 100–110kW, with earth conductors of 16–35mm². An external leakage current device, if used, must be rated 300mA or more. Meters include the Eastron SDM630-Modbus V2, the SDM630 MCT with external CTs and CHINT DTSU666 types.

The datasheet lists IEC 61727, IEC 62116, CEI 0-21, EN 50549, NRS 097, RD 140, UNE 217002, OVE-Richtlinie R25, G99 and VDE-AR-N 4105. Deye publishes certificates for the series covering CEI 0-21 and CEI 0-16 for Italy, VDE-AR-N 4105, EN 50549-1 with French and Polish versions, and Spanish NTS, UNE 217001/217002 and RD 647/413/1699.

Monitoring and settings

Grid code, power limits, power factor, export mode and protection thresholds are set on the LCD. Interfaces are RS485 and RS232; remote monitoring uses the Wi-Fi plug or an optional GPRS, Bluetooth, 4G or LAN logger, with access from a web server or phone. Operating range is -25 to 60°C with derating above 45°C, at up to 4000m, with intelligent air cooling and noise of 55dB or less. The warranty is 5 years.
