An Italian company selling batteries, inverters and solar equipment since 2015. Registered office in Sigillo (Perugia), VAT IT03894170541.
Who we areNew, original BYD products with full manufacturer warranty, supplied with their documentation.
A single 2.56kWh module for the BYD Battery-Box Premium HVS, the high-voltage LFP battery that stacks in series on a base under a BCU. At 102.4V and 38kg per module, two modules make an HVS 5.1 (5.12kWh, 204.8V) and five an HVS 12.8 (12.8kWh, 512V). Use it to build a new tower or to extend an existing one; the number of modules allowed with each hybrid inverter is set by BYD's compatible inverter list.
A Battery-Box Premium HVS tower consists of a base, two to five battery modules connected in series by blind-mating plugs, and a Battery Control Unit (BCU) on top with the breaker and the communication ports. Each module stores 2.56kWh at 102.4V and weighs 38kg; a tower is 585mm wide and 298mm deep, from 762mm tall with two modules to 1,461mm with five. The four configurations are HVS 5.1 (204.8V), HVS 7.7 (307.2V), HVS 10.2 (409.6V) and HVS 12.8 (512V).
Every configuration delivers 25A continuously and 50A for three seconds, so power rises with the number of modules. Usable energy is stated at 100% depth of discharge (0.2C, 25°C) and round-trip efficiency is at least 96%. Power is derated between -10°C and +5°C. Up to three identical towers can run in parallel on one inverter, for a maximum of 38.4kWh; with SMA Sunny Boy Storage 3.7–6.0 the inverter manual governs the connection. HVS and HVM towers cannot be combined.
The HVS is approved for indoor and outdoor floor installation (IP55) at -10…+50°C, 5–95% humidity and below 3000m, away from direct sun, rain and snow and at least 300mm above the ground. The base sits 12–19mm from the wall. The system may only run with inverters on the BYD HVS/HVM compatible inverter list, which states the allowed module count and minimum firmware for each model. It covers Fronius, SMA, KOSTAL, GoodWe, Solis, Sungrow, Deye, Afore, Solplanet, Ingeteam, KACO, Viessmann and other brands.
The Be Connect 2.0 app sets up the system and updates firmware; Be Connect Plus on a PC adds diagnostics and event logs, and Be Connect Monitoring gives BYD service remote access. The European warranty covers defects for 10 years and guarantees 60% of usable energy for 10 years or until the minimum throughput is reached (15.41MWh for HVS 5.1, 38.53MWh for HVS 12.8).
Between two and five. The inverter may require a higher minimum: the BYD compatible inverter list gives the allowed module count for each model.
Yes, the system is modular up to five modules per tower; beyond that a second or third identical tower can be connected in parallel, up to 38.4kWh.
No. BYD states that an HVS system cannot be connected with an HVM system.
10 years against defects, and 60% of usable energy for 10 years or until the minimum throughput energy for the configuration is reached, whichever comes first.
