Who we areNew, original Solis products with full manufacturer warranty, supplied with their documentation.
The S6-EA3P10KAA-NV-ND-H is the 10kW model of the series, with a 50A battery port for high-voltage lithium batteries from 120V to 600V, as stated in the Solis datasheet and manual. It retrofits storage to an existing three-phase PV installation, charging with up to 10kW and drawing up to 15kW on the grid side. The housing is 230mm deep and weighs 26.9kg. Self-use, time-of-use and peak-shaving modes are set in the SolisCloud app.
The S6-EA3P(5-10)KAA-NV-ND-H is a three-phase battery inverter connected on the AC side of a home. Solis designed it to turn an existing grid-tied PV system into a storage system with little change to the installation: the PV inverter keeps working, while the AC-coupled unit charges a high-voltage lithium battery from surplus power and discharges it to cover consumption. It has no PV input and no backup output.
An Eastron SDM630MCT three-phase meter with CTs is supplied and can be placed at the grid connection point or on the load side. The battery port accepts 120–600V with up to 25A on the 5–6kW models and 50A on the 8–10kW models, and the battery charge and discharge efficiency to AC reaches 97.50%.
Self-use mode is the recommended setting: surplus PV energy goes into the battery and is used when production falls below demand. Six time-of-use windows allow charging and discharging to follow tariff periods, optionally using grid power. In peak-shaving mode the inverter limits the power drawn from the grid to a set value and keeps a reserve state of charge for peaks. Two RS485 ports support remote upgrades and virtual power plant control.
The unit is wall-mounted, weighs 24.3kg (5–6kW) or 26.9kg (8–10kW) and is cooled by natural convection; output derates above 45°C. Keep at least 200mm between inverters or other objects and 200mm below the unit. Battery and AC are connected with quick-connect plugs and a CAN cable is supplied for the battery BMS.
Compatible batteries are listed in the Solis high-voltage matching list, which includes BYD Battery-Box Premium HVS/HVM, Pylontech Force H1/H2, Dyness Tower and SolisStorage FlexHome-H. The datasheet lists VDE-AR-N 4105, EN 50549-1/-10 and Nordic EN 50549 variants as grid codes; CEI 0-21 is not listed.
Status is shown by LED indicators, and commissioning is done over Bluetooth with the SolisCloud app, where battery model, meter type and position, grid code and work mode are set. Wi-Fi, cellular or LAN data loggers are optional for remote monitoring and firmware updates, and Solis provides a battery healing function for battery maintenance.
No. It has no PV input. It is installed next to an existing grid-tied PV inverter and charges the battery from surplus AC power measured by the meter.
The datasheet and manual list no backup or EPS output for this series. It is intended for self-consumption, time-of-use and peak-shaving operation.
The 5kW and 6kW models charge and discharge at up to 25A and weigh 24.3kg; the 8kW and 10kW models reach 50A and weigh 26.9kg, with a deeper housing of 230mm instead of 210mm.
