Who we areNew, original Safiery products with full manufacturer warranty, supplied with their documentation.
The Safiery dual hob puts two induction zones of 1,800W and 1,300W under a Schott Ceran glass top, with combined draw limited to 2,000W so it runs on a 2,000W inverter. Power is delivered continuously from 300W to 2,000W, so it simmers without pulsing. It measures 520×290×55mm, needs a 497×270mm cut-out, weighs 5.1kg, connects with a standard 240V 10A plug and holds dual SAA certification for the cooktop and its power circuitry.
Most domestic induction cooktops draw 2,400W or more, which can trip a 2,000W inverter. Safiery's cooktops are sized to stay within 2,000W, so they can run from the inverter already fitted in many boats, motorhomes and caravans. Safiery's reference installation for the single hob is a Victron Smart 2,000W inverter with one 200Ah lithium battery.
Instead of simulating low settings by switching full power on and off, these cooktops regulate power continuously. Safiery points out that this avoids audible clicking, hot and cold cycles in the pan and electromagnetic interference near marine or RV electronics. The 240V dual hob covers a continuous range from 300W to 2,000W, so it can hold a real low simmer.
The single hob is rated 1,800W with three touch settings, a 288mm black crystal top over a 260mm cut-out and a depth of 85mm. The 240V dual hob combines 1,800W and 1,300W zones, limited to 2,000W together, under a Schott Ceran glass top of 520×290×55mm, plugs into a 10A outlet and holds SAA certification. The USA dual hob is a built-in 110V unit with two 1,400W zones capped at 2,000W.
The 240V dual hob needs a 497×270mm cut-out and weighs 5.1kg. All models need ferromagnetic cookware such as cast iron, enamelled iron, carbon steel or magnetic stainless steel; a magnet that sticks firmly to the base confirms the pan will work. Safiery quotes about 94% cooking efficiency, against about 70% for conventional electric and 40% for LPG, and about two minutes to boil 0.5L of water at 1,800W.
Yes. All three models cap their total draw at 2,000W, which is the inverter size Safiery designed them for.
Ferromagnetic cookware: cast iron, enamelled iron, carbon steel or magnetic stainless steel. If a magnet sticks firmly to the base, the pan is suitable.
The USA dual hob INC110018001, built for 110V supplies with two 1,400W zones and a 2,000W combined limit.
Yes. It carries SAA certificates SAA-220357-EA and SAA-201744-EA, covering the cooktop and its smooth-power circuitry.
