Who we areNew, original Dyness products with full manufacturer warranty, supplied with their documentation.
The Tower Pro TP19 uses five HV9640 modules with the BDU controller and base, giving 19.2kWh at 480V nominal and 18.24kWh usable at 95% depth of discharge. It operates from 420V to 540V and, with inverter communication, charges and discharges at 1C, up to 19.2kW. Using the datasheet formulas, height is about 1,438mm and weight about 231kg. The Dyness list approves five-module towers for inverters such as KOSTAL PLENTICORE plus G2, Solis S6-EH3P(3-10)K-H, GoodWe GW6-15K-ET-20 and Hoymiles HYT-5.0~12.0HVEUG1.
Tower Pro is a stack of HV9640 lithium iron phosphate modules on a base, topped by the battery disconnect unit (BDU). Each module contains 30 cells of 3.2V and 40Ah in series and adds 96V and 3.84kWh. The five configurations, TP7, TP11, TP15, TP19 and TP23, use two to six modules and run at 192V to 576V nominal, from 7.68kWh to 23.04kWh. Dyness rates 95% depth of discharge, so a TP23 offers 21.888kWh usable.
Modules are connected by composite plug-and-socket connectors that carry power, communication and heating lines, so the stack needs no cables between modules. Modules identify themselves when stacked. The base sits under the stack and the BDU on top, and a tower is completed by fixing brackets that hold it against the wall.
When the battery communicates with the inverter it charges and discharges at up to 40A, which is 1C: a TP7 handles 7.68kW and a TP23 23.04kW. Dyness states at least 8,000 cycles at 0.2C, 25°C and 95% depth of discharge to 70% end of life.
The IP55 enclosure is naturally cooled, each tower has a built-in aerosol fire extinguisher, and Dyness allows modules of different ages to be mixed within three years. Heated versions start heating below 2°C ambient, powered by the inverter or by the battery itself down to 20% state of charge, and stop once the coldest cell is above 5°C.
The tower stands on the floor and is fixed to the wall with brackets; leave 300mm around it and keep it out of direct sun, rain and snow. The earth connection must be below 100mΩ. A tower is 587mm wide and 310mm deep, its height being 338mm plus 220mm per module. Up to 12 towers of the same model and capacity can run in parallel if their voltages are within 20V and all are fully charged.
Two inverter cables are supplied: one marked RS485 for KOSTAL, one marked CAN for Solis, GoodWe, Solinteg, Deye, Sineng, ATESS, Sinexcel, Solplanet and others. Dyness lists Tower Pro certifications to IEC 62619, IEC 63056, IEC 62477, IEC 62040, VDE-AR-E 2510-50, CEI 0-21 and CEI 0-16.
The BDU front shows run, communication, fault and state-of-charge LEDs, and its Wi-Fi module links the tower to the Dyness app and web portal for monitoring and remote firmware updates. In Europe the warranty is ten years with 70% usable energy retention or a minimum energy throughput per model, and can be extended to 15 years. Batteries used without inverter communication are covered for three years only.
Yes, every tower needs one BDU and one base. The BDU contains the DC breaker, the WAKE button, the inverter CAN/RS485 port, the parallel ports and the Wi-Fi module; the modules alone cannot be connected to an inverter.
Up to 12 Tower Pro towers, giving a maximum of 276.48kWh with six modules each. The towers must be the same model and capacity, within 20V of each other and fully charged when connected.
Yes. A tower can grow from two to six modules, and Dyness allows mixing old and new modules within three years. Check that your inverter is approved for the new tower size on the Tower Pro compatibility list.
Yes. The compatibility list includes KOSTAL PLENTICORE plus, PLENTICORE G3 and other PLENTICORE models for all five tower sizes, using the RS485 cable supplied with the battery.
Only the versions with heating function. Without heating the charge range is 0°C to +55°C; with heating it extends to -20°C. Discharge is allowed from -20°C to +55°C.
