Who we areNew, original Deye products with full manufacturer warranty, supplied with their documentation.
SE-F16-C is the largest pack of Deye's SE-F low-voltage range, here in the LCD version that displays state of charge and error codes. Its 314Ah at 51.2V give 16kWh in a single 109kg unit of 400×708×233mm. Discharge reaches 230A continuous, about 11.8kW at nominal voltage, with 280A peaks for 10 seconds; charging is limited to 160A continuous (about 8.2kW), with 157A recommended. Packs mount on the wall, on the floor or in stacks of up to four, with up to 32 in parallel.
The SE-F packs are low-voltage batteries built on lithium iron phosphate cells with a nominal 51.2V and an operating window of 44.8–57.6V. A built-in BMS measures cell voltage, current and temperature, balances the cells and protects the pack with an active fuse. The pack is wired to the battery terminals of a low-voltage hybrid or off-grid inverter and reports its state of charge and limits through the PCS port.
The three sizes share one architecture. SE-F5 Pro stores 100Ah (5.12kWh) and allows 100A continuous with 150A for 120 seconds. SE-F12 stores 235Ah (12.03kWh) and SE-F16 314Ah (16kWh); both discharge at 230A continuous with 280A peaks for 10 seconds, while charging is limited to 230A on SE-F12 and 160A on SE-F16. Deye recommends a 90% depth of discharge for all three.
Each model is built in three versions that differ in the front panel: -L carries the Deye logo, -E an LED strip for state of charge and -C an LCD screen that shows state of charge and error codes. Deye rates the cells for at least 6000 cycles at 25°C to 70% end of life, with an energy throughput of 16MWh for SE-F5 Pro, 37MWh for SE-F12 and 50MWh for SE-F16. The warranty is 5 or 10 years, depending on the country of installation and Deye's warranty letter.
The IP21 enclosure is meant for a clean, dry and ventilated indoor room away from living areas, up to 3000m altitude, with charging allowed from 0 to 55°C and discharging from -20 to 55°C. Packs hang on a wall bracket, stand on the floor or are stacked: up to six layers for SE-F5 Pro and SE-F12, four for SE-F16. The SE-F12/SE-F16 manual classes the enclosure as corrosion level C3, for sites more than 5km from the coast.
In a bank, the packs are daisy-chained from OUT to IN over RJ45 cables and the master pack talks to the inverter through its PCS port, using CAN at 500kbps or RS485 at 9600bps. One inverter can serve several packs, or several inverters can share one bank. SE-F5 Pro has quick-plug DC connectors and a built-in circuit breaker, with 25mm² cable recommended and 100A per pack; SE-F12 and SE-F16 use M8 bolted terminals.
Battery data can be read in Deye Cloud on the system page of a connected Deye inverter with Wi-Fi or a data logger stick. SE-F12 and SE-F16 pair over Bluetooth with the Deye Cloud app for local readings of each pack. SE-F5 Pro gains Bluetooth and Wi-Fi through an optional data logger plugged into its acquisition port, which also allows remote firmware updates. Service staff can read detailed pack data on a PC through a CAN adapter on the IN/OUT ports.
Only the front panel changes: -L has the Deye logo, -E an LED strip for state of charge and -C an LCD screen with state of charge and error codes. Deye publishes one specification table for all three versions of each model.
Up to 32 packs in parallel, or 64 with Deye's CAN-Bridge (CAN-Box in the SE-F5 Pro manual). Stacks are limited to six layers for SE-F5 Pro and SE-F12 and four layers for SE-F16, so larger banks combine several stacks or wall-mounted packs.
Deye's manuals pair them with low-voltage (48V class) hybrid inverters and PCS units, and Deye's series brochure combines them with the SUN-3/3.6/5/6K-OG01LP1-EU-AM2 off-grid inverters. The inverter link is CAN at 500kbps or RS485 at 9600bps through the PCS port.
No. They have an IP21 enclosure for indoor rooms. For outdoor sites Deye offers the IP65 SE-F12 Max and SE-F16 Max, also available with heating.
Deye recommends at least 25mm² (4AWG) cable and states a maximum of 100A for a single pack. The supplied cable has a ring terminal for the inverter and a plug-in connector for the battery.
